Excellent food, had the pizza and lasagna. Will defiantly be going back. Slightly pricy though. Best Greek food in Kelowna. Kids menu is priced well. We hope to go back soon. Wish they delivered to our area.

Possibly the finest Greek food in the Interior. And one our finest restaurants in Kelowna overall. I’ve been to Greece and the food here is absolutely authentic and fabulous. I’ve never been a big Greek food guy. I’ve always liked it, but never jumped up and down and yelled, «Let’s get Greek tonight!» This place changed my mind, far more then 15 days in country did. The décor is spectacular. Subdued lighting and the way it’s decorated gives the feel of the inside/outside of a small town, Greek island restaurant at dusk. The patios are fabulous. Service is not only friendly, it’s very personal without being intrusive or needlessly rushed. These people take the time to get to know you(and you them) and make you feel totally at home. This is a great place to go and spend a few leisurely hours on a meal. The wine selection is large and varied, with a decent selection of local stuff. They also have a small selection of good Greek wine, which I find pairs very nicely with the food. And of course there’s Ouzo, not to be ignored: as an apéritif, or a nice finisher(my preference). Espresso and coffee lovers should give the«Greek Coffee» a try as well with their dessert. This is a sublime treat of the Eastern Mediterranean and Balkans, usually named after the country in which it is made. «Turkish Coffee» in Turkey, «Greek Coffee» in Greece, «Arabic Coffee» in the Arabic world, etc. see«Turkish Coffee» in Wikipedia for full explanation. If asked for, it will typically be quite sweet, which you may or may not like. It can be made less so, just ask. The Greek salad is less over the top than most, but in a good way. It’s subtle and sublime, allowing you to savour each ingredient, rather then overwhelming you with the feta and dressing. I highly recommend the combo platters as they allow a couple or group to try a bit of everything. I’m not a big lamb guy, as I find it a bit gamey for my taste, but this is one of the few places I love it. The baklava may be the best I’ve ever had. This restaurant and the sushi place across Hwy 33 make me miss living in the area. Highly, highly recommended. And worth the occasional trip for us Westbankers, and you Peachlanders. And I would even go to the trouble once in a while from Vernon, Summerland and Penticton. It’s that good. Just do it right: stay for hours and have a drive home!(Or somewhere near to spend the night)

Large portions of great Greek food that is good for sharing with everyone in a fun and friendly atmosphere! Great unique decorations. Our server was good but she was a bit rushing. We still recommended for all occasions if you want to have a taste of Greek! The negative side — meat on skewer was bit dry, restaurant was a bit too noisy & Chef missed our prawn on our Olympia Platter but they took off $ 6 on price.

I have been to Olympia a few times in the last few weeks. It might be my new favourite restaurant in Kelowna! Great service and fantastic food! My husband and I always share a plate of Dolmades… they are amazing!!! The lemony sauce is perfect! We both had the Spanakopita for dinner. It comes with a delicious salad to start followed by a nice plate of rice, roasted potatoes and vegetables and of course the Spanakopita. The portions are large! It’s hard to not stuff myself into a food coma. I save half for lunch the next day… so I can be sure there’s room for dessert. unfortunately, I can’t remember what their special house made dessert is called. I can only describe it as a moist slice of bread and cinnamon topped with custard, cream and almonds… melt in your mouth delicious!!! If you love Greek food, definitely try Olympia Greek Taverna!

Let me preface this by saying that I have been eating Greek food all my life, and I absolutely recommend Olympia for all lovers of Greek food. As an added bonus, they have an extensive gluten-free selection of dishes, and are happy to modify dishes where possible to accommodate, so celiacs don’t have to settle for second best of anything here. We started with the Saganaki — I know it’s corny, but I love the cheese! — which is wonderfully salty and tangy. The prawns uvetsi is perfect — prawns smothered in a rich tomato sauce and feta and baked — please can I just have a bathtub full of that sauce? The prawns aren’t overcooked and the tomato sauce is rich and thick — Yummy! The Horiatiki, also known as village salad, is spot on — feta, tomato, peppers, cucumber, onion, kalamata olives in a fragrant dressing — I could be sitting on the Mediterranean eating this. The calamari dinner comes with a generous portion of delicious, tender calamari cooked to the second, with plenty of tzatziki to chase away vampires. But the star of the show is the lamb trio — three cuts of lamb(souvlaki, shoulder, rack of lamb) particularly useful when you just can’t make up your mind. The lamb souvlaki chunks are mouthwatering tender, broiled pieces of marinated lamb. The lamb shoulder, or Kleftiko, is juicy, flavourful and fall off the bone tender. The rack chop is perfectly cooked, soft and expertly seasoned to bring out the best in lamb. The only bad part is that dinner was so good, none of us left any room for dessert, not even the kids! With a carafe of the house red Greek wine to wash it all down with, this was a meal fit for a king. And the best part is that you don’t have to be Midas to eat here — the prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food you get here. Great food, great value, atmosphere, and really good service as well. Top marks, Olympia!

Dropped in on a sleepy Tuesday night. Very good. All food very fresh, spiced properly, easily the best greek in K. Excellent service from a 20 yr vet, Richard. Excellent Greek wine. Good outside patio. Very fairly priced. Will definitely return when I have a craving for fresh Greek salad!
