Pretty good Korean. Not really comparable to the good spots in Toronto. But still pretty good. Had the pork bone soup and the meat was tender and came off the bone with little effort. The broth was tasty yet simple. It lacked a little bit of depth, but was still quite tasty. If you are in Kingston and need a Korean fix, this will hit the spot. The side dish will be refilled for free, so do not hesitate to dig in. The staff is helpful and very friendly.

They added my favourite Korean dish — ddubokki to the menu and we had to try it! Sad to report that it wasn’t as good as we had hoped :(It’s $ 20 — which is almost double the price of Podu Namu’s and came with a smaller portion. Sauce was just okay so we’re going to stick with Podu Namu’s from now on!

I’ve been meaning to try Rice House for a while. It is a small Korean restaurant with nice staff and a clean environment. Both my friend and I had the bulgogi bibimbap, and both of us were quite impressed. Not the best I have ever had, but it sure was good. I will be back to try some of their other offerings, especially the pork bone soup. The menu is a tad on the small side(especially for Asian restaurant standards), but offers good Korean food at a competitive price for Kingston.

My favorite Korean restaurant in Kingston, offers really delicious and awesome Korean food. Prices are also okay. The only thing is not too many choices of food. I wish to eat rice cake here but they don’t have it.

I had the Soon Tofu Soup and the spicy salmon roll here multiple times, and needless to say, they are both amazing. The Soon Tofu Soup is perfect for a cold day, because 1. It is hot, 2. Because it will warm your insides right up! It is also super spicy with lots of soft tofu, clams, shrimp and other seafoods. It also comes with a raw egg to crack in the soup! The spicy salmon roll is also the best I have had in Kingston. Something about it just tasted so good, probably because it was actually tasted fresh and actually spicy compared to a lot of «spicy» salmon rolls I have had in the past(I am a spicy salmon roll affectionado). A lot of other sushi restaurants have their nori too soft and not crispy, same with the tempura bits that make the sushi crispy. This was a different, yet good, experience that I had! The restaurant is owned by what I assumed to be a local woman who not only cooks the food, but also serves occasionally. She seems really nice!

A great spot if you’re craving some good Korean food! Their pork bone soup, jap chae and bibimbap are delicious. My favourite here is the spicy salmon roll, idk what’s in it but it’s prbly the best I’ve ever had! Bummed that the last time I went the sushi chef wasn’t in :( Lunch specials are a good deal! Cute atmosphere and service is good.

Had the pork bone soup, which I have eaten at other Korean restaurants. Fantastic. Rich, slightly spicy broth. Meaty pork. Great sides, kimchi sprouts etc. Can’t wait to return.

Really delicious Korean food and sushi. Love the pork bone soup, bibimbap, soon tofu, etc. I would say it’s one of the best Korean restaurants in town. The side dishes are always delicate and appetizing, and they tend to be different every time we are there. The sushi is good, too, and I will definitely try more of their sushi. One thing I’d like to see improvement is about one waitress, she seems a bit oblivious while serving, and seems to be missing things here and there(e.g various sauces, water, side dishes…), I felt bad asking several times for everything I needed. Hopefully she’s just new and will be better in time. Other servers are all good and service is normally quite fast.
