Located at the southwest corner of Fischer-Hallman and University, this Food Basics is popular amongst university and high school students due to the proximity of a high school and a high percentage of university students who live in the neighbourhood.
It’s your average Food Basics, with a respectable variety of foods, but a level below Zehrs and Real Canadian. An interesting thing I noticed with this store is that dairy products are stored behind fridge doors, which I’m not used to.
Cashiers were okay, but seemed not so interactive. They did say thank you for shopping at least.
