The food is ok, big portion sizes if you like pub food. Prices are decent but the environment is pretty depressing.

For an inexpensive local pub, it has some surprisingly decent food. Had a chicken club with avocado and my friend had a cheeseburger and fries. With 2.99 beers we were out the door for 27 ($ 4 tip!)
Fries were great, pool tables were free. I come here for lunch if I am working in Ladysmith. Always been good food, quick and friendly service.

came in for a drink on a sunny saturday evening after getting picked up from the ferry.
the place is huge with 2 sections. the left room has a bunch of pool tables and the right room has the bar in the middle, booths on the side, some tables, a little dancefloor, vending machines and lots of tvs for sports and entertainment.
the girl working there was very friendly and the drinks were cheap.
all the men were sitting right at the bar with a pint in their hands. we were the only ones in a both.
i like small town bars
