Best Western Langley Inn

I wish I had taken pictures while I was there. This was the cleanest Best Western I’d ever been to and the room I stayed in was super spacious. I loved that it had a small sitting area by the doorway which included a couch and TV and then another TV in front of the bed. This would be great would couples — one can watch sports and the other can watch TV dramas. You know how that can be! :)
Both checking in and checking out were quite easy. Filled a small form out and I was on my way. I’m from Seattle so I’m not familiar with Langley, but this hotel seemed to be close by to everything I needed. Gas stations, casino, mall, restaurants, you name it. There’s also a restaurant attached to the hotel, so if you’re like me and miss the free breakfast they provide in the morning, you can just walk next door to eat. That was definitely a plus, although I didn’t go there. Nice to have that option though!
I’ll be returning to Langley in a few months and definitely plan on booking a room here again. I’m a fan!

Horrible hotel. The staff is rude and the maintenance man yelled and swore at me from across the parking lot. I went to go eat at the ABC restaurant and the maintenance man assumed I was from Kwantlen and started swearing at me. I complained to the manager in tears and she didn’t seem to care. I do not feel safe in their parking lot, not with that psycho working for them.

I called and reserved a room from the road. After a 10 hour drive across BC I arrived exhausted and ready for a shower. I entered the lobby and realized that I had forgotten my credit card at home.
The girl at the counter informed me that she couldn’t check me in to my room, even though I had cash for a deposit and proper identification.
I was disappointed that she was unwilling to help me and I ended up staying at a competitor down the street, who was more than willing to give me a room at a lower rate.
I won’t bother with the Best Western chain the next time I travel for business or pleasure
