Warning… this marina is not a marina but a low class ghetto garage that prays on boaters who arent mechanics… Ive been a customer for a few years to winterize and summarize my boat. This is a very simple task for 4.3L vr merc and they did this fine…
It was my stereo that they totally f-​ed me. I have a cd player, amp, 6 marine speakers and a 12 «sub. The stereo stopped working one day in august so I took it in. they fit me in with only a week before a long weekend which was nice, and they told me thy could fix my stereo in a few hours. so i took the day off and brought it in, to consideable gas expense etc.
They worked on it for 4 hours (apparently) and when i got there they said the amp and speakers were blown and the «tech» said how do I hook this up anways. long story short they charged me $ 300 for what should have been a $ 100-​$ 150 max and they blew my $ 500 marine quality brand new speakers!!! and for all i knew they blew my $ 500 amp too. Could have been a simple wirng issue too for all i know as it had been in the past… i know 100% my speakers worked fine b4 and they were now 100% toast … I feel like an idiot for taking a stereo to a marina but it was in a boat and they said they could handle it.
I almost wish i were out more money so i could sue the sheet out of them but its not so it the best i can do is to tell my true story to eveyone i can… be warned brigantine is a joke and when i got the bill saw the result and refused to pay i was threatened with cops, screaming and what could only be expalined as pshycosis on their part… i paid $ 150 and told them to fuck themselves and left… im stil mad two months later… overall cost to me is aprox $ 1500 for gas and the bill for wrecking my stereo and $ 1000 to replace the enitre brand new stero somewhere else!!!
