They burnt a hole in my scalp, on the top of my head. There is a nickel sized bald spot where the hair does not grow. I have to make sure it is always covered during the summer. They didn’t even want to refund my money. I would not recommend this salon.

There are times when your hair is in dire need of rescue and at those times… I go to ColourTech. I have been coming here for about fifteen years and seen various stylists and I’ve never been disappointed. Whether it was through over-​bleaching at home or another salon turning my hair grey, I’ve always been able to count on the girls here to save me. My hair is baby fine and breaks easily so colour can be tricky, but they always manage to give me exactly what I want. Linda is my absolute favourite — no matter how badly I’ve wrecked my hair, she always has a positive attitude and works magic so I leave the salon looking and feeling fabulous. She listens to what I want and works with me until I’m completely satisfied with everything she’s done. The cuts and colour I get here are, in my opinion, on par with the priciest downtown salons but for much less than you’d spend there. This place is an absolute gem and my favourite hair salon in the Vancouver area.

I’ve been going to Colour Tech for about 5 years now. They totally saved my hair from a home colouring kit that I used on my hair that turned my hair orange. The girls were able to determine right away what colour to use to get my hair back to «normal» which is a light brown with highlights. They have worked with me over the last few years and made my hair look it’s best. I would defininately recommend them to anyone who is looking for a salon that knows what they are doing when it comes to colour.
