Levy’s Source for Sports specializes in the latest hockey and lacrosse products and also offers a personalized approach to skate sharpening, equipment fitting and customization. We pride ourselves on our detailed approach to each customer’s needs.

A testament to our professional, personalized approach, Levy’s houses a 980 square foot shooting area where skates and sticks can be tested, skating stride can be evaluated and goalie and player training is offered.

Lacrosse players also benefit from the area by testing strung sticks in house and also through player and goalie training.

History

Established in 2009.

Equipment manufacturing and modification has always been in Levy’s blood as Joe Levis (father) was a goalie mask maker back in the 1970’s and 1980’s.

In 2009, Levy’s began offering the community of Langley and the surrounding Fraser Valley the best in hockey and lacrosse equipment and related services.

Originally located in the heart of downtown Langley along the Fraser Hwy, Levy’s moved to it’s new location in October of 2012. Located now on Mufford Crescent, Levy’s boasts a 980 square foot training and demo area which caters to both hockey and lacrosse players wanting to get the most out of their respective sports.

Throughout the last four years, Levy’s has been the trusted equipment provided for the Langley Chiefs and Langley Rivermen of the BCHL.

Business Owner

I am a local sporting goods store owner, operator that has been involved in sports my entire life.

My approach is to offer advice and service based on my years of professional playing experience which began in 1998 in the Western Lacrosse League and National Lacrosse League as well as hockey experience with the Abbotsford Heat of the American Hockey League.

Having grew up around hockey and lacrosse equipment manufacturing, I am very comfortable around equipment. Over 20 years of skate sharpening and profiling experience, as well as over 20 years of lacrosse stick stringing experience have been used to help players ranging from leisure athletes to NLL, AHL and NHL players.

For 10 years I left the sporting goods industry and owned and operated health clubs where I gained certification as a Strength Coach and Exercise Specialist. While working within the clubs my client list included professional athletes, A-​list celebrities and some of Canada’s most successful business people.
