******* — — — -MASSIVE FAIL — — — — – So you want to get your computer fixed? Ha ha! Let me tell you what these clowns at did. I took my Macbook pro in to have them check the display. It had some issues. I called the next day for the quote. They wanted $ 950 to replace the display. I told them, «no thanks. I’ll have my wife drop by and pick it up.» The next day while I’m at work my wife goes in to «pick up her husband’s computer». We chat later in the afternoon and she tells me she left it on the kitchen table for me. Ok. I get home from work and as I walk into the kitchen I see this great looking 27″ iMac sitting on my table! WTF? I go over to it and there is paperwork from the store with it. My wife was charged $ 52.87 labor for whatever was done to this computer. The name on the receipt is some other guy. Our names aren’t even close. THESTOREGAVEAWAYTHISGUY’S NICENEWIMAC27″ COMPUTER!!! This is a monumental breach of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act! Most companies would fire the employee that does this. How the hell do you give away a 27″ iMac instead of the a macbook pro? My wife had no idea what computer I was having fixed, so it not up to her to know which of my 12 computers in the house are being fixed. She gave my name, and they gave here the guys iMac. I could have copied his hard drive and all of his personal banking information, his pictures, his porn collection, his music, his dirty little secrets. I had his address and his phone number as well! I called the store and they could care less. They wouldn’t even drive out to my home to pick it up! I had to toss the machine into the back of pickup truck and drive it from Surrey to Langley — where the store is! But you what the real kicker is? When I called the Vancouver store to find out who owns this horrid company — — i was give an email for a Mr. Vierus — The CEO of the company. I wrote to him explaining things. And so NOW I understand why the Langley store didn’t give a crap. Vierus couldn’t even be bother to write back or offer an apology. Pardon the PUN, but«the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree». I called Cupertino, California and explained my situation. They booked an appointment for me at the Oakridge Apple store where a team of highly skilled employees greeted me at the door. They not only fixed my screen for ZEROCOST, but they also gave me a brand new battery. You just can’t beat Apple!

Good, efficient, friendly service. Was not«over» sold on products. Went in with and idea of what we wanted and the sales person confirmed that we were making the right choice and even kept my husband from getting the bigger screen.
