Carrefour Laval

Large modern mall in Montréal that has everything under one roof. The food court has so many different choices to select with a large expansive seating area. There are also very nice indoor atrium gardens to sit and admire which is good for the harsh winter seasons in Montréal.

There are few things I hate in life. Shopping is one of them… particularly in malls. The idea of being crammed into a confined space surrounded by crying babies and listening to House music blaring in GAP and Zara-​type stores is my worst nightmare. That said, you can do a lot worse if you visit Carrefour Laval. They have many areas to sit outside of the stores while your wife or significant other is shopping. Unlike other malls, their food court is surprisingly good — featuring places like L’Academie Express and Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory (get the frozen cheesecake on a stick).
*One thing: you WILL get lost if you are like me and will not allow yourself to use the maps posted on every corner. The place is a maze.
I’ll give the Carrefour 4 stars based solely on their food court and comfy couches outside the stores

Great mall, spacious, clean and modern. Has to get really busy to feel packed but it does happen in extreme times, just after Christmas etc. Great selection of shops and food court. Plenty of parking one of the best malls I have been to.

Simply put a very elegant mall, looks amazing during Christmas time. A bit expensive, but still has good variety of stores. Tip: kids can ride on the mall’s choo-​choo train that travels around the mall.

Et puis là, sur ma route, il y a eu le Carrefour Laval.
C’EST BEAU! C’EST IMMENSE! Il y a des magasins complètements débiles!
La section «on a faim et il faut absolument manger avant d’écraser à la Senza entre deux brassières» est remplie de restaurants, il y en a pour tous les goûts! Comme en ce qui a trait aux magasins d’ailleurs. Des commerces pour tous, et quand je dis pour tous, c’est vraiment la folie furieuse.
Je pense que c’est la première fois que j’aime un centre d’achats pour vrai.
Sauf la fin de semaine. Parce que la fin de semaine, il y a TROP de monde, et moi, le monde, ça m’fait un peu peur. Mais toi, tu n’as pas peur du monde, alors vas-​y n’importe quand, tu trouveras tout ce dont tu as besoin. Oh, et vas-​y en autobus, parce que s’y stationner, c’est un peu comme mourir à petit feu.

Best shopping mall in the Montréal area. The girls are so hot, you might be walking around with a boner while shopping — it might make stuff difficult when trying on pants.

Bestesttttt malll in Quebec by far !!! It’s big, family friendly, very safe, clean and the general ambiance is great! Service is fast and pleasant!
Just went to victoria’s secret and The girl called «Lisa» gave me the BEST service any girl ever gave me. She called me by my personal name and made sure all the sizes i got fit me… Loved my experience at carrefour today hehe !!! I come here at leasttttt once a week to get nice things ! 100% recommend

Another huge Canadian mall with numerous stores. I liked the store selection and mall layout. I didn’t see too many American based stores, but I did quite a bit of shopping in here. The food court is also fabulous. There were plenty of coffee, tea, and ice cream shops throughout the mall. The restrooms were clean and there were plenty of places to stop and rest between stores. There was also plenty of parking.

Nice place to shop with your girlfriend few days before Christmas bought her stuff worth 630 bucks and she still enjoys it it’s also good for a job!

A bit out of my way, a bit pricey, a bit snobbish, hard to find a parking at times, but overall a nice mall! I’m sure whatever your budget you will find something!
If you are looking for a Victoria secret store, or simply craving a Godiva Trufflelata! Just because our wonderful Montréal downtown doesn’t have them yet!
The mall is of course in Laval, you can either drive or take public transportation. If you are coming from Montréal, remember to have the extra 3.25 $ for the fare.
I would recommend to go to this mall Monday– Wednesday to avoid big crowds, long line ups etc!

There is not enough stars available to be given to this shopping mall. Wow! This massive beauty of a shopping area puts all the malls in the state, specially the east coast malls to shame. Very well done. They have put together such a good selection of shops that you really need an entire day to check them out. I was very impressed by how clean everything was. Unlike malls in the state, the inside did not smell like food. Sales persons were very friendly and I was happy to see they all spoke English so fluently. My regret was I was there for a short time and it was not enough time to have checked out more shops. Now I must make a shopping trip to Montréal just for this mall.

Best mall of my life! I was visiting from the U.S. And when it started pouring I wanted to go shopping indoors. I found this mall by chance because it has my favorite store brandy Melville. I was expecting a low end mall because I saw they have Sears and old navy. I sure was wrong! I walked into the mall and it was beautiful inside. It did not stink of food like most American malls do. The mall is huge and one could spend hours there. Parking is free. I was so sorry I got there at 7:30 and only had 2 hours to shop. If you’re visiting from the U.S. This mall is a must. It’s so clean and pretty and has a great selection of Canadian shops and other great stores like topshop and brandy Melville. I would go back to Montréal just for this mall.

What a busy mall! Definately considered a high end mall. Even on a Sunday this place was insane! Inside the mall in the center you’ll find a nice garden area with a large bird cage with actual birds chirping away! Retailers include Harry Rosen, Simons, Apple Store, Armani Exchange, William Sonoma, Coach, H&M, Michael Kors, Le Creuset, Rudsak, Zara, Mont Blanc, True Religion, and a huge Nespresso store! There’s even a Lego Store!
I’d say its definately worth the commute from the Montréal core.

Je né commencerai pas mon avi avec «C’est gros et c’est 1,3 million de pieds carrés de chaussures et pantalons» mais… c’est vraiment 1,3 million de pieds carrés plein de sacoche, pantalons, chaussures… mais saviez vous que vous pouvez y acheter des… LEGO? Des bonbons bio? Un rideau de douche rétro-​éclairé? Et même y faire le shooting niaiseux de votre bébé naissant? Et oui!!! Carrefour Laval est la crème de la dérision! You got the money? Carrefour Laval est un trou sans fond! Habillez vous confortable (mais pas trop, on vous accuserais d’être Sait-​Eustachois) et partez dans cette jungle qu’est le centre à la mode! Soyez bien équipé car vous n’en ressortirai qu’une semaine plus tard! PS: Boxing Day = morts.

Location: Laval, right off A-​15. It’s tucked between Montréal and the North Shore burbs, making it very easy to get to if you’re driving. Massive parking lots surround the mall and the only time you may have trouble finding parking is on the weekend, past 11am. That said, I personally have never had a problem finding a spot. Best time to go? Evenings during the week — Friday nights is dead and you can shop hassle-​free.
The place: I’ve been shopping here since my stroller days so have seen this mall develop over the years. C-​L is probably one of the biggest malls in this neck of the woods — a few years back they added an extension and thus, a slew of new shops followed. The new section is bright and airy, and even offers up a giant bird cage with, you guessed it — live birds. It’s the perfect place to take a quick shopping break in this little urban oasis. In terms of shops, well, what DON’T they have? Need an iPad? Apple’s got it. Renovating your house? RONA’s just around the corner. New pair of rollerblades on your list? Sports Experts has’em. Need to replenish your tea supply? Stop by Teavana. The only store you won’t find in C-​L is Winners, which is a real shame but with all the other stores around, you won’t miss it. For you yoga buffs — Lululemon is finally opening up a store this Fall.
What else: They have a pretty snazzy food court with many options to choose from, and you’ll find other restaurants scattered throughout the mall including l’Académie. If you absolutely your extra hot-​grande-​soy-​free-​no-​foam-​caramel-​macchiato, head over to Starbucks or Second Cup.
Price point: Obviously that depends on what you’re shopping for. Best time to get a deal? Last week of June right before they have their sidewalk sale (usually first 1 – 2 weeks in July) — you’ll have your pick of the good stuff before the sale starts, and January, post-​holiday.

This is one of the best malls I’ve ever been to, and the only reason I don’t like it is that it’s nowhere near close to me!
I love the openess of the mall, the stores, the food court, and just everything!
Compared to your average mall in the states, this mall is above them all.
If I’m ever in the area again, this is a definite stop.

This is one of the best mall I have seen. Its beautiful and always so clean.
The middle of the mall is so beautiful with all the flowers and right now they have a huge cage with lots of birds.
The good court is amazing and so diverse and I am sure will please even pickiest eater

My favorite mall in Montréal. A good selection of boutiques and a nice variety of restaurants in the food court.

Probably the best mall in all of the surrounding Montréal regions. This place is huge and has a great selection of places to shop at. Furthermore, for many Quebecers, this is a place where we can shop AWAY FROM THE COLD WINTERS. You find a place to park your car and you can shop for hours confined in this huge shopping mall.
This place is also conveniently location by the 440 and 15 highways.
While this place has many things going for it, I’ll state a few in particular that doesn’t work as well :
— This place is a victim of its own popularity. If you hate huge crowds on weekends or anytime during the holidays, this place isn’t for you unless you plan to come here early in the mornings. The foot traffic in this place is ridiculous. X-​Mas time from mid-​November till mid-​January? Insanity.
— Parking needs to be improved. This place is huge and they have added more and more restos and the place gets more and more popular… the parking however? This is the main reason whether or not I opt to go visit this place or not. Oh, it’s 3 PM and I want to go somewhere… let me check Unilocal if I can find another location nearby… or come back tomorrow at 10 – 11 AM. No way, I’m wasting 10 minutes to find a park my car or park at the end of the lot and walk 5+ minutes in the winter cold.
— Try to leave here at 5 PM on weekends, I dare you. Expect to wait 15 – 20 minutes to get out of the parking lot… if you’re lucky. No thanks.

This place is by far my favourite mall in the Montréal area. They have all the stores I like to shop at and then some. The newer section has a very upscale feel to it and there is a large variety of stores. The food court is your average mall food court but what’s cool about it is that they use reusable dishes so they generate less waste.
Parking here can be bad especially on weekends. I find it best to go as soon as I get up in the morning because if you can get there before lunch you might actually get a decent spot. Get there in the afternoon and you risk not finding any parking at all. A few times I had to circle the entire mall for a spot and by chance found what must have been the last spot in the entire parking lot.

Le carrefour Laval c’est l’endroit rêvé pour les fans du shopping! Je suis arrivée au paradis! Je pense que tous les magasins y sont! Et oui ils ont le fameux Victoria’s Secret, je m’y suis rendu rien que pour ce magasin! Le bonheur! Il est énorme, et c’est tellement beau, et malgré le monde, le personnel est hyper sympa et serviable!
Pour en revenir au carrefour lui même, il est immense d’ailleurs on s’y perd facilement, c’est un vrai labyrinthe! Un conseil munissez vous d’un plan pour les premières fois.
C’est agréable de s’y promener et pour ceux qui veulent se relaxer il y a un petit espace vert très lumineux avec les oiseaux chantant!
Souvent quand on fait du shopping, ça creuse l’estomac, on peut donc faire un ptit stop soit au Second Cup, ce que j ai fait pour un frappé au chocolat, il y a aussi Starbucks, Café Dépôt,… J’ai vu également, vite fait, qu’il y avait un coin avec différents fast food si vous voulez manger quelque chose de plus copieux.
Concernant le transport, quand vous venez de Montréal et que vous arrivez à la station montmorency, prévoyez 3 $ car surprise la carte STM né fonctionne pas!
Et encore mieux à mon retour du carrefour je reprends le bus, je reçois un ticket qui fait normalement correspondance donc une fois de retour au métro je veux l’ utiliser et encore surprise ça né fonctionne pas non plus, et hop un autre ptit 3 $… Un peu de l’arnaque quand on vient du centre de Montréal.

Wow I was shocked how beautiful this mall was when my sister took me out for the day. Laval Mall, how can it sound like that and yet so upscale, I was blown away this place is comparable to nice malls in the States. An indoor street with boutique store fronts, benches and garbages in between, great experience.
There are beautiful sky lights with chandeliers taking advantage of the light. cosy lazy boys, real plants, water fountain, music playing throughout.

There are over 300 stores and anything you want you’ll find they even have La Senza, Victoria Secret, and La Vie En Rose to cover lingerie Valentine’s needs.
The lunch court was well done with huge Granite slabs as tables for high tops with stools, there are booths, there are chairs and tables of many sizes, this place has options.
The food stands offer Real Metal utensils and real Glasses very environmentally friendly, yes they went Green. Their goal is to have Zero waste. The Food Court has an 88 percent reduction in waste when they made the switch to re usable dishes and utensils.
There are so many flavours to try in this food court, there’s Greek, Lebanese, Japanese, Chinese, Asian, Pizza, Indian, Thai, Salads, Burgers, Rockin’ Deli, Jugo Juice, You Decide.

don’t want coffee?: David’s Tea

This place is Family Friendly theres a nursery room in the mall .

Yes this place is huge there’s even a Rona Depot construction warehouse in it.
Worth Checking out this is what all malls should be like.

C’est grand, c’est big, c’est huge, c’est immense; tu te perds si tu né le connais pas; tu te bats pour le stationnement; çà n’a pas vraiment de cachet; ça ressemble à un grand centre d’achats typique nord américain; il n’y a que de grandes chaînes de magasins; çà coûte 15 $ dîner un burger à peine bon sur une assiette avec, excusez-​moi, de vrais ustensiles et boire dans un vrai verre; la fin de semaine, c’est plein; à Noël oubliez çà; les clients y sont de plus en plus snob avec leur Lacoste, Marc Jacobs, Micheal kors, Coach, Uggs et tout le reste. Mais JE M’EN FOUS, J’AIME CÀ. Le Carrefour Laval, c’est ma jeunesse des années 90, c’était THE place-​to-​be sur la rive nord. J’y magasinais mes premiers vêtements Jacob, Naf Naf, Au cotton, j’allais à l’ancien Cineplex qui est détruit depuis plusieurs années et maintenant j’y magasine pour ma fille et, en 2030, elle y magasinera avec ses amies, comme je l’ai tant fait. On y trouve toutes les grandes boutiques, TOUTES.

This is the prime shopping centre in Laval and has everything from Apple Store to Banana Republic, Browns Shoes, Crate & Barrel, Starbucks, Williams Sonoma, Victoria’s Secret etc. If you want to see hella busy (human version of an ant hill), come see the foodcourt here at lunchtime! This place is also a great place to come walk around or get the kids out of the house in the winter. The garden/​fountain area by Birks & La Swiss is a great place to come and sit down in a chair and relax/​read a book! A true hidden gem in the mall!

Ce giganteste centre commercial vous offre rien de moins que 1.3 millions de pieds carrés alors une paire de souliers confortables et de mise, si vous souhaitez faire le tour!
Plusieurs magasins américains ont d’ailleurs ouvert leurs portes ici avant de le faire au centre ville de Montréal, je pense entre autres au magasin Sephora.
Au Carrefour Laval, vous trouverez vraiment de tout pour tous les goûts!
