One of those rooms that feels dirty. No black out curtains and hostile looking cleaning staff.

We were treated very bad in This hotel tonight. Manager was not on premises and said over the phone that she won’t give us nonsmoking room because we purchased the room on Priceline. The only room they offered us was smoking room which smelled so bad that there was no way we could breath in it all night. We arrived between 10 – 11 pm and they couldn’t care less. The nonsmoking rooms were for guests who purchased directly supposedly for a higher price. The nonsmoking rooms stood empty while we had to look for another hotel. The experience was truly awful. I never experienced such treatment and such bad customer service. This was pure discrimination. If there was a possibility of reversing star rating than I would give this hotel negative 5 stars.

This place was terrible. I’m actually writing this while waiting for my breakfast to be served. Let me start from the beginning, okay? First, we booked a room through Expedia and the hotel put us in a Smoking room, so we had to complain to be moved out. We had to pay extra to be moved out of the room that THEY put us in accidentally and up to an «executive suite» which had a fridge and a coffee machine. We booked a room for 5 people, and the«executive suite» they moved us into could fit only 4.(The room was really tiny too.) We inquired about this and they said that the hotel was fully booked and that there were no other rooms they could move us to. They were very sorry, so they told us that they would bring a roll out mattress. My family and I went out for dinner and to spend the evening exploring Old Montréal, expecting the bed to be set up while we were out. But of course, it wasn’t. We went back down to the front desk after a multitude of unanswered calls from our room and found that there was actually no one at the front desk, the receptionists had gone in the back room for a break. At the same time. Yeah. When we finally found someone to give us a bed, they told us they would bring it right away, and so we went back to our room. We waited two hours before they came knocking on the door, telling us that their first roll out bed was in use and the second was broken. Instead they brought these massive cushions for me to sleep on.(I had to sleep on a pair of packing cushions, it was awful) To make up for the fact that I didn’t have a real bed, they offered the whole family breakfast coupons for the restaurant downstairs. They told us that they would slip it under the door, but of course, they didn’t. Lastly the restaurant. My food still has not arrived and we ordered about 5 minutes before I even started this review. I would not recommend this place to anyone unless they are as argumentative as me, as you might be able to argue your way to proper treatment.

Decent hotel, staff is helpful, décor is ok. Stayed here a week for work. Not a bad place to stay at for work. Some good restaurants close by. Don’t bother going to the restaurant inside the hotel. Beds were too firm for me, and my co workers also thought the beds in their rooms could have been better. Good parking, we had a semi tractor with our vehicles and had no problem parking that every night.

This is actually a «Holiday Inn Laval Montréal» hotel, at least that’s what you will see as its name and logo — so if you’ll drive by looking for«Radisson», it may be confusing. The hotel itself is a reasonably good business destination. I would not recommend it for a personal travel purposes — price tag corresponds to a corporate wallet. Rooms are rather smallish, but everything is clean and(mostly) working. All the services are standard — no surprises, no value adds. Staff speaks English and is helpful. Parking is outside only — good enough for a corporate rental. There is a really nice little sport bar in the same block, and Cosmodome(Space Exploration Museum) nearby. Also lots of shopping malls and restaurants around — within a long walk or short drive distance. Major highways crossing is right in front of you, so driving to Montréal or elsewhere is easy and immediate, just don’t forget a GPS if you are driving in Quebec for a first time.
