Leamington Kinsmen Recreation Complex

Got a week guest pass. Reminds me of an old YMCA in the US. Large building with many areas to socialize and get a snack. They have hockey ring (s) and a gym. I didn’t look at it but there are hockey leagues in it. $ 8 per visit or $ 64 for a 10 punch card. I’m not sure what the membership fee is. They have a kiddie pool and regular pool.
Weight and Nautilus rooms are very old. The treadmills, stairmasters and ellipticals are also very old. I would guess 10 – 20 years old for all the equipment. Surprise how small the exercise area are. They haven’t learned about TV’s on equipment. They have 4 TV’s up front each set on a station. They don’t want you to change it.
They do not provide towels and the water fountains serve warm water. I guess they want you to pay $ 1.75 for bottled water. At least the ceilings aren’t coming down like at Leamington Fitness. Leamington Fitness has better equipment and TV/DVD’s on each aerobic piece of equipment.
