This place is all charm. Run by Barbara, it’s a small house just around the corner from Megalomaniac and Vineland vineyards. The guest rooms are around back on the first floor, where you open on to a living/kitchen area. It’s decorated with British memorabilia(Barbara is English), and tea and coffee are at your disposal. The rooms are small-ish, but cozy. A decent sized bed, electric fireplace, television and private bathroom are in each. The room my friend Christina and I shared was decorated with images from«The King and I,» a very cute touch. Breakfast, which is included, was lovely. We joined the other guests(we were the odd singletons out) in the main room, where Barbara served coffee, tea, toast with homemade jam, fruit, eggs, bacon and hash browns. If you’re not a fan of chitchat, you may want to skip breakfast, but we enjoyed getting to know the other guests. Overall, a great experience and perfect for visiting the vineyards.
