I list the butterscotch milkshake as my «last meal on earth» for a reason. First of all, it’s huge. Second, it’s delicious: the perfect summer meal/beverage. Many years ago, when I was at Camp White Pine, we made a field trip out here(or maybe another Kawartha Dairy Barn; I’m not sure, but I think this is the only one listed on Unilocal,so it gets the review) and I got the butterscotch milkshake. I was kind of a chubby kid, and I knew my way around a milkshake, but this one blew my mind. The butterscotch is pungent and fruity. The shake is thick, but not so thick that you worry you’ll burst a blood vessel trying to get the shake to your mouth. When I was moved to write one of my rare, be-laboriously chicken-scratch-handwriting filled postcards home to my parents about it, I got a letter a week later from my Dad, reminiscing about how he too used to be a big fan of the butterscotch milkshake, so this is an enduring shake. Since then I’ve had many a milkshake, but I’ve rarely found a place that does a butterscotch shake, and never one as good.

Best ice cream ever, it is a drive through as well. Definitely worth checking it out!
