Dave graduated from the University of Alberta in 2005. Since then he has spent over 1200 hours in formal post-​graduate training leading to extensive certification in Manual Therapy, Acupuncture and Intramuscular Stimulation (GunnIMS). Dave has worked in Edmonton, Calgary, Golden BC, and has now recently moved to London Ontario.

Dave is the only physiotherapist in London that holds certification in Gunn Intramuscular Stimulation (GunnIMS). GunnIMS is a very specialized use of acupuncture needles to reduce pain and alleviate overuse injuries.

During his time in Calgary Dave was a preferred provider to the Canadian Sport Centre where he worked with elite athletes competing in track and field, freestyle skiing, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, speed skating, and water polo. Dave has worked with many well decorated track and field athletes including Perdita Felicien (2 time world champion, 2 time olympian, and 10 time Canadian champion in the 100m hurdles) and Sam Effah (2 time Canadian 100m sprint champion). From 2009 through 2012 he was also the primary medical support provider for Jessica Zelinka, 7 time Canadian heptathlon champion and 2 time olympian, travelling to most of her training camps and international competitions including the 2012 London Olympic Games.

Although much of his past 3 years has been spent with athletes, Dave enjoys working with a wide range of clients to help them reach their personal goals.
