From what I can remember from the last time I visited, I initially heard great reviews from a friend about their ramen so I decided to check it out. I guess things changed the last time she went, because we both agreed it was not that good. The ramen was kind of bland and watered down. The sushi was pretty good though. Cute little place, but a little tight in terms of space.

I love this place! One of the only places I know that serve authentic Japanese ramen. :) Their sushi’s are very tasty here, too. Place is a little bit small but it’s very cozy and homey. My only concern whenever I go there is that they dont have free parking for their customers. You have to pay, at least, $ 3 for each visit.

Sushi rolls was delicious, and I would have given 3 stars or 4 but the rice that came with the Tempura lunch combo tasted like something left over from a day or two before… Not something should have happened for a sushi restaurant.

Good sushi that is very reasonably priced for the size of the rolls. Delicious miso soup(not too salty, which I’ve encountered at some places in town) and tempura as well. I’ve been here a number of times and it’s never been very crowded so it’s a good place to go for both a quiet meal or with a bigger group.

Kawa is located in a great spot in the middle of downtown near Richmond and Oxford in a cute little house. It has a great ambiance and the staff are all very friendly! However I wasn’t really that impressed with the sushi. It was a bit dry and the rolls were pretty small!
