Labatt – The Simcoe Street Brewery

Our car club did a road rally to the Labatt brewery in London. We had probably 3 dozen members attend the brewery tour and all were impressed with the wealth of knowledge that was shared. A nice visit to their museum-​grade trucks of old was part of the tour. The finishing touch was a beer sampling in their hospitality room, where we not only tasted 5 beers, but we learned about the different ingredients and brewing processes of each.
The tour was conducted with each attendee being issued safety glasses and a headset/​hearing protection muffs. There were few instances where we could not receive the tour on the headsets, but that was mainly due to becoming spread out and around a corner from the tour guide.
Reservations are required. There are certain rules and regulations for attending, and there was a nominal fee, I think it was $ 5 per adult person.
