Excellent Greek food in London. I don’t often go out for Greek food because I feel like the the price often doesn’t match the basic ingredients(meat on a stick, salad and potatoes) but I was pleasantly surprised by Mythic Grill. The food is excellent and surprisingly filling. I’m not a huge calamari fan but it was fantastic and easily the best I’ve had. The beef souvlaki was also delicious. Their homemade Tzatziki sauce just made everything even that much better. The service was on point and our server was friendly, quick and knowledgeable and very attentive. The owner came by near the end to ask how everything was which is always appreciated. The ambiance is perfect, not too big, nice décor and Greek music playing in the background. I would definitely recommend this place for a date night or a night out with friends.

Mythic is THE best Greek in London. I LOVE the small cozy environment. I won’t write an extensive review, as they are great but words don’t do them justice. — Food — EVERYTHING is AMAZING. Always. Never had a bad experience here. Ever. — Service — Service is exceptional. The owner takes pride in his place, as well his wait staff. He is always willing to jump in to help out. — Overall — Order anything and you will enjoy. I do highly recommend the Lamb as well as the Greek Salad and the Saganaki(Flaming Cheese). Give these guys a shot, they are worth it. They do NOT take reservations, so be sure to get in there early if you are going on a Friday or Saturday night.

Very good. You have to try the Saganaki. Had the gyro dinner as well. Quite enjoyable. Definitely recommend and will return.

Went for lunch earlier today, didn’t have a single complaint. The owner was friendly and conversational, the food was great(I had the Calimari and my friend had the Souvlaki Kotopoulo), and the price justified the overall experience. Definitely going back soon!

A real go to for me in London. The calamari, lamb and Musaka are all amazing. The décor and atmosphere are unique in a very good way — very cozy spot!

I have been to Mythic Grill twice since last year and the service and food has never failed to disappoint. Their best dish is their lamb chops. I had moussaka the second time around and it was delicious. My friend had gotten the sanakopita which looked delicious and authentic. The best part of their menu was the saganaki cheese which is flambéed with orzo when it is brought to the table is bubbling. While it is an expensive restaurant, it’s worth remembering for as a place to celebrate or for special occasions! :-)

Great little place. Just the sort of place I like. Run by local guys eager to please. Had the shrimp with scallop dish and I don’t remember the name. It was more of a seafood salad; very delicious. Bigger scallops would be preferred. I’ll be back in town next week for the lamb and more of the Alfa mmmmm.

Great location and interesting décor. Seating options include tables, a banquette, one booth and an outdoor patio. It’s located off of Richmond Row, so the patio is on a quieter street. If they will take a reservation from you, that’s recommended as it can get quite busy. That applies to lunch and to dinner. It’s the main floor of an old house, so when the patio isn’t open it seats 30 – 40 people. The food is consistently good, which has its merits. I’d rather know that I’m getting a good meal every time than a great one sometimes and a disaster others, especially if I’m entertaining a colleague or friend. Faves here include spanakopita($ 9), souvlaki($ 21-$ 26) and saganaki($ 12). I don’t know much about greek food, but we do have a greek family member who cooks for us, and this place seems«authentic», if that’s your thing. Me, I’m more of the Québecois view: bon, beau, pas chèr, the last being the least important. The portion sizes are large; I almost always leave with an uneaten portion to go. On that point, a small plea: if you are able, please consider keeping food storage containers in your car so that you can wrap up leftovers when dining out. It saves small businesses money(a little bit from each diner adds up over the course of a year) and it saves packaging from going into a landfill. Try it — you’ll be surprised at how good you feel. This is not the place to go if you are in a rush. The food arrives when it arrives and the time that it takes does not seem relative to the number of diners, the time of day or the identity of the server.

This is such a tucked away gem off the main Richmond Row in Downtown London. The atmosphere is cozy with some really unique decorations. I was very impressed with the friendliness and service provided by all the staff. As for the food, definitely get the saganaki, the staff put on a bit of a display of pyrotechnic theatrics when bringing it to your tableside. The lamb souvlaki was extremely tender and flavorful. Portions were definitely large enough. At the end of my meal on my first visit, the owner recommended the«Greek Mountain tea» and I’m glad I took his recommendation. It is a great way to finish a rich meal and is very unique drink.

Want a perhaps slightly fancier yet cozy version of a Greek dinner? Then this place is for you. The food is excellent — the souvlakis are particularly tasty — they have a good selection of beer, and the service is very friendly. It’s a good idea to make a reservation, as the place is small.

I’ve been here twice and both times, the food was excellent. The first time I went, I had the pork souvlaki(very moist and juicy) with potatoes and I thoroughly enjoyed it. And the pomegranate cheesecake for dessert was absolutely amazing. Our server also extremely polite and friendly. On my second visit however, our server second time around was abrupt and disinterested. But nevertheless, the food was very good(I had the moussaka and it was terrific while my friend had the spanakopita which she raved about) although they ran out of the pomegranate cheesecake that evening. A cozy intimate little place although it might be hard to get a table as the dining area is quite small.

This cute little restaurant was bumpin’ during a weekend 5:30 dinner service! They were able to accomodate our reservation of 8 but food came out a bit slow perhaps because of it. The moussaka was rich but definitely had a ‘homey’ feel that matched the cozy atmosphere. Good portion sizes(aside from the massive salad appetizers… good bang for the buck, I guess!) but still on the pricier side for the average university student.
