My boyfriend and I went here the other night for some food and to kill some time before seeing a movie at the nearby Cineplex theater. The atmosphere here is inviting and very much a sports bar. The booths along the walls have their own TV for watching games. Our waitress was kind but perhaps not the most attentive at first. She seemed to come around more towards the end of our meal. We ordered the All Star Platter and a Fish and Chips entrée to share. The All Star Platter had a very tasty assortment of foods including some very delicious calamari. The four cheese dip included in the platter was very delicious as well. The fish and chips were pretty standard but still just as yummy. I would come back here again. It’s a very inviting restaurant with a comfortable and fun atmosphere and great food!

Excellent experience. Road house/sports bar atmosphere but a step up. Very clean and modern. I had Sausage and Pepper Penne and my wife had The Closer. Both great choices from a well rounded menu. Would definitely recommend and we will be back.

Loved my Truffle Mushroom Burger today with a side of sweet potato fries. Quick service for a day when lunch had less than an hour to fit the routine. While I was there I learned that they gave $ 8.99 burgers on Wednesday nights. Count me in!

We decided to share some appetizers so we tried the quesadillas(spicy and delicious!) Asian chicken bites(really tasty!) and the lobster and prawn cakes(amazing!). We each had a different entrée I had the lobster and prime rib burger what a great combo! The burger was tender and juicy and the lobster was great without overpowering the burger. My son had the 5 cheese chicken penne and there was so much the remainder got taken home. My other son had the back ribs with Kansas sauce and an everything baked potato. Needless to say there was none left! My Mom had the truffle and cheese burger and loved it! Finally my husband had a bacon and cheese burger and his only complaint was too much cheese! Overall a great dinner. Service was friendly and quick. Restaurant was clean and not too noisy. Only sports playing on TV’s but it is a sports bar! :-)

Appetizer: we ordered the Rickards White Five Cheese Dip. The dip itself, although not a huge portion was delicious. The flatbreads were fantastic but our nacho chips were a bit stale. The dip was definitely an appetizer for two people. Main: I had the Wings. They were delicious. And gigantic. And really hot when they arrived at the table. My sister had the lobster grilled cheese. Her highlight was the big chunks of lobster and the multigrain bread. I’m talking visible lobster hunks. My boyfriend had the Havana Slamma. Which looked delicious and he demolished it. The service was slow for the restaurant being mostly empty on a Sunday evening. Our waitress was a bit awkward As well.

One of the better Shoeless Joes around. I expected a quaintly worn joint serving passable bar food. Surprise! Not only is the restaurant newer, and cleaner than some I’ve been to, the food was really good! Located in the parking lot of a dying, half vacant shopping mall, I was a bit concerned about what was to come. It all started with the service – attentive, helpful, patient, and enjoyable. I started with a serving of wings in a salt and pepper coating as an appetizer. They arrived quickly, hot and crispy on the outside, hotter and juicy on the inside. I almost burned myself several times in my haste to hoover them down. For the main, the Rickards Fish & Chips was recommended by my tablemates. Once again, the meal arrived quickly. The thick fish filet was hot and crispy on the outside, and hotter and juicy on the inside. The choice is for one of two pieces of fish– I kept it to one piece. Mistake. I wanted more.

Went here for dinner to chat work with a colleague. Décor and set up nothing spectacular; typical sports/roadhouse bar type of feel. Service was good; server very friendly, no complaints. Food was served cold; ordered chicken fajita wrap and fries. Food tasted bland, flavour not present. Again food cold. Overall experience was average at best.

Just doesn’t do it for me — Found the food a bit greasy and the staff preoccupied with other things than serving me. Typical bar food fare which can be found(less greasy) elsewhere. On the bar side, good atmosphere — Standard sports bar look/feel.

We have visited this location a number of times as it is cloe to home and work and one thing stands out. Service needs help. It usually starts out reasonably well but as the meal wears on, wait staff vanish. One of our party left before we were able to get her bill. On an earlier visit, one member of the party gave up on food after the waitress went missing for 25 minutes. She seemed to be in the kitchen area chatting with other staff. Open face steak sandwich was cooked properly and a reasonable value, Ruben received positive comments as did the Pulled Pork sandwich. Food seems to be fine but service is lacking and will make us think twice before another visit

Stopped for a quick lunch, surprisingly pretty decent spot — i try for fresh food whenever i’m traveling, and they held up.
