Meet the Business Owner

Julie and Avery B.

Business Owner

Julie was raised in London, Ontario. She attended St. Mary’s Choir and Orchestra School, where her artistic interests expanded to music and acting. Julie continued her studies at Ryerson University in Toronto, Ontario where she graduated from the Dance Performance program in 2001. In 2002, 2005 and 2006 she was a can-can dancer at the world famous Diamond Tooth Gertie’s in Dawson City, Yukon. It was here that she met music director and composer Avery Brown.

Avery Brown discovered his passion for music and performance as a young boy singing in many of the great cathedrals of England during two choir-in-residence tours. He received extensive piano and vocal training in classical, jazz and contemporary styles in Calgary and attended the inaugural Jazz Performance program at Mount Royal College on a full scholarship. This training has served him well as musical director and composer for more than 50 professional plays in theatres across Canada and Europe.
