My security experience started in 1985.

My experience includes a military background (Canadian Navy), 5 years peace officer (Victoria, BC and North Vancouver, BC), investigations, security consulting, certified canine (K9) patrol/​detection handler, executive protection, project management, labour disputes and special events.

In May of 2009, I accepted my current position with CanAm Protection Group, Inc., A Protection Services Company with Canadian headquarters in British Columbia. I was successfully responsible for the training and deployment of multiple K-​9 Teams (patrol & detection) before, during and after the 2010 Winter Olympics Games in Vancouver, B.C.

Prior to joining CanAm Protection Group, Inc., I owned and operated another security company in British Columbia known as BTSS for eight and a half years with the largest K-​9 Unit in Western Canada (at its peak the company had 175 staff members in total).

I continue to focus on personal and professional development.
