History

Established in 1998.

Jani-​Clean started as ‘Clean-​As-​A-​Whistle’ in 1998 catering to busy professionals and families providing home cleaning services in Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows, BC. As we grew, demand dictated that we add the business community to our cleaning services and serve our local community. Through years of word-​of-​mouth and client referrals we grew and grew until in 2007 when we felt we needed a new name and a more professional image, and so we changed our name to Jani-​Clean Janitorial Services and never looked back. Jani-​Clean now happily serves Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows, Port Coquitlam, Coquitlam and Port Moody.

Meet the Business Owner

Shelly R.

Business Owner

Prior to 1998 for over 15 yrs, Shelly and her husband Jim as Super, worked as members of other professional cleaning crews wh working for other commercial janitorial Service companies. She gained certifications, experience and expertise and honed her skills during those early years in floor maintenance, office cleaning, sanitation, window washing and working with people. She loves people… and still believes they deserve a clean place to work (or live), and to breath clean air as free of dust and allergens as is possible. Shelly has made this her life’s work.

During that early time until 1997, she (with her husband, Jim as Supervisor) and their crew, cleaned Coquitlam Centre, the Coke bottling plant (Coq), and many other corporate offices and types of businesses from distribution plants to retail stores, medical and dental offices to hair salons and insurances offices. Her employer retired — closed the company Shelly brought her expertise in professional cleaning to her own Company
