We provide maternity care to women in Ridge Meadows and surrounding communities for their pregnancy, delivery and until one week postpartum.

Once a patient has been for a baby check up 1 week after delivery, mom and baby will both be discharged back into the care of their family doctor.

If a patient does not have a family doctor, we will connect them with one before they have their baby.

History

Established in 2002.

Ridge Meadows Maternity Clinic was opened in March 2002 by a group of local family doctors to ensure that maternity care would continue to be close at hand to meet the needs of our growing community.

In recent years the number of family doctors providing maternity care in Ridge Meadows has declined significantly. This resulted in many women having to leave their community to receive prenatal care and deliver their baby.

The number of deliveries at Ridge Meadows Hospital has increased considerably since the clinic opened, and continues to do so.
