Greek Family restaurant hidden behind the scenes but it seems that a few resident locals visit on occasion. It could be the same crowd as Maple Bakery needing something different than Italian cuisine in the Italian community. Souvlaki 2 Go serves the typical Greek foods of Souvlakis, Bifteki, Gyros, Pita Sandwiches, Salads. On top of that a Halibut dedicated Fish ‘n’ Chips selection. Burgers also exist but it’s the option of Regular or Homemade, where Homemade is Pure Beef costing a couple dollars extra. 2.5 *Star* Décor reminds of typical fastfood Greek franchise, nothing to Unilocal about. All these factors is probably what makes this Family restaurant more suitable for locals within walking distance as it’s not exactly a destination to travel to and back. There are specials posted on blackboards, top being the Regular Burger w/Pop priced at $ 3.50 or so. Chicken Souvlaki dinner($ 9.99) — While I did enjoy the Chicken Souvlaki’s perfectly grilled and flavourfully marinaded, the Rice/Potato/Greek Salad were more Meh than Yeh. This noted, I would consider the Chicken Souvlaki on a Pita/Bun($ 5.99) next time around. Homemade Burger(Pure Beef $ 4.99) — Good size, patty looks pretty Beefy with grill marks as seen prior on the Chicken Souvlaki. Taste typical but it was the overcooked texture that I didn’t enjoy as much.
