This beautiful manor home now banquet hall/rental facility, specializes in private rentals for wedding ceremony and receptions as well as anniversary parties, birthday, holiday and corporate functions as well as meetings and business retreats.
Please note that viewing the facility, especially on Saturdays is by appointment only so as not to interfere with booked functions.
History
Established in 1970.
Heintzman House (circa 1817) located in Thornhill, Ontario is a designated heritage site. One of the oldest homes in the Greater Toronto area it has a long and fascinating history and has been home to many of Thornhill and Markham’s leading citizens. Now owned by the City of Markham we operate as a ‘not for profit’ overseen by a volunteer Board of Directors.

Christine Beck is in her 26th year as the manager of Heintzman House
and has more then 31 years experience in the customer care field.
Her event planning expertise and industry knowledge is an invaluable asset, and her devotion and love of Heintzman House is only surpassed
by her commitment to her clients.
Her management style perfectly compliments Heintzman House’s
warm and welcoming environment.
