Markham Butcher

Very friendly and full of experience! Was very informative and provided us with many suggestions. Meat was great and with reasonable price. Even if what you are looking for is not on display they will get it for you. Great service!

I was excited that Markham has a new butcher shop but was disappointed when I walked in.
There was very little meat on display and the prices were not posted. The small store had a fresh tray of fresh sausages and said they had more meat in the back. They had a fridge of drinks and some kitchen supplies.
On the positive note, the owner said that they will price match any advertised meat in the city. They can order and get the cut of meat that a customer is looking for. They said they guarantee the meat source to be high quality and reputable.
I ordered a beef brisket from them that arrived the next day. The owner only brought one into his store, and said we didn’t have to take it. We bought it anyway and enjoyed the quality of the meat that we bought.
I don’t know how the business can sustain if the butcher doesn’t bring more meat in, particularly if customers want something on-​the-​go. Hopefully things will improve. It’s a good place if you want to place an order for something in particular and get a great price on it, or don’t mind buying what the store happens to have in stock.
My rating will improve as the owner works out the kinks of the business.
