Markham Wellness Center and Spa

I came here for a couples full body massage (front and back) on Valentine’s day 2015…
The facility is ok, a little dark and tightly spaced. We arrived early for our appointment, but they seemed to be running a bit late. We waited about 20 minutes or so. The walls are kind of thin, so any loud noises made from the lobby or the actual massage rooms can be heard quite clearly from either space.
We met with our masseuses, who are registered RMTs. We were not required to sign a waiver or anything coming in. Both ladies were very good at what they do. I wasn’t particularly sore until after the massage (massages can do that to you, lol…), as my lady worked extensively on my shoulders and neck. Be mindful that if the strength put into your massage is too much, be sure to SPEAK UP. I’m super boney, so I blame myself for waiting to say anything when I was in pain after she began to kneed my shoulders out. After asking to lighten up, the strength was a lot more appropriate to my size. I would have liked if there was more emphasis placed on my calves, which I did indicate were sore.
My boyfriend said that his was perfect. Then again he is much more meaty than I am, and was actually sore prior to the massage, so he got the most out of his time there.
The ladies were very friendly, and by the end of it, we started talking and laughing about traveling and other things. The customer service was excellent.
The massages were VERY cheap, considering the quality. My boyfriend said it was about $ 130.00 CAD or something like that (not per person… that was the TOTAL price for both of us, after taxes).

Had the bamboo massage for the first time and it was amazing! I loved it. Hands down best massage I’ve ever had. It is a little pricy though. Had some issues when I first went in but they resolved it quickly with their great customer service skills. I would definitely recommend going
