The school is situated on 6 acres of land, and the facilities are very secure (with cameras located on the exterior and interior of the school). The school building itself was formerly a YRDSB school, before closing down once new subdivisions in stouffville were built and new schools were created, and then it was sold to I guess Mindtech. Having a full sized gymnasium is an extra bonus.
We have friends whose children attend this school, and they all speak so positively of their kids experiences here. So we went in for a tour, and were pleased with what we saw.
I’d recommend going in for an impromptu tour (outside of the Open Houses they run, and without notice), as you will see how the kids are in a true setting, how the teachers are, and if the kids are truly happy.
My kids enjoy it, and the teachers are what makes the school a current success.
We also love the fact that the school takes the CASA and older kids for swimming, skating, skiing, etc. Lots of programs for your kids to participate in.
