Most of you know of Chun Gi Mei Snack House in that corner spot of 1st floor Pacific Mall serving up your HK variety street food such as Curry Fish Ball or Beef Ball. At least those non-Asians lining up knew of it. Mini Mini is one of the few Bubble Tea places in here that has a street food item popular through-out Taiwan(and Japan) and as you know Bubble Tea itself is derived from TW. Kantō-ni(Oden variation)($ 0.99/item) is comparable priced to another Bubble Tea shop nearby. The staff will open up the Freezer and put your items in the pot to cook so it will take time unlike in Taiwan at your nearest 7 – 11 that has a traditional Kantō-ni Cooker. This place does have a Cooker too but it’s more for aesthetics/décor in the corner as you seat to await your items. This is a TINY space barely fits people standing but that’s perfect as Kantō-ni much like HK Curry Fish Balls is meant to be a street-food as you enjoy while you browse the shops. I had the Squid Ball, Tianbula, and Beef Ball but I’m sure you’ll be loading up on the Hot sauce from the condiment counter to your liking. This item can definitely be a substitute for Curry Fish Balls in the Pacific Mall.
