Star Tea is just another bubble tea place in Markham. Menu might have more choices for dessert, but I don’t see how it will be the one that I would go to if I think of getting a drink or dessert. 双Q奶茶($ 5) Double Q Milk Tea pearl and rainbow jelly with 30% sweetness was just so sweet that I could not even drink that. I went to the front and ask the girl to put in more tea which she nicely did and redid the top seal for me as if I got another new drink. +0.5 star for service.

Came here on Sat night around 9:30pm, place was empty except for my friend and I. We came here hoping to try out some new sweets at this place. One word, disappointing(at least the desserts, not sure about drinks) Wanted to try the papaya pudding, tells us they don’t have. So we end up getting the matcha pudding, and there was barely any matcha taste. They had 10 pudding selection, only 4 was available that night. They also have 7 crêpe cake selections, but only had 1 available. Seems like not everything on their menus is available… if so, what’s the point. Don’t think I would return to try their desserts again, but since I have a buy one get one free coupon for drinks, may give that a try later down the road.

I came here based on Vesta C’s review. She had me at coconut puddings :) Located in the same plaza as T&T, along with the other half dozen bubble tea places. I just don’t understand how so many bubble tea places can survive in this one little plaza. Anyways, I was going to get the coconut pudding which Vesta had mentioned in her review but when I saw the price I backed off. Its $ 12 for pudding and fruits served in a real coconut. That was a little to rich for me. Man! that made me sound so cheap… lol Instead, I did try the layer cake for $ 8 a slice. They ran out of Matcha flavour so I had to settle for chocolate. It tasted okay and was«pretty yum» like Vesta would say :) As for drinks I got a milk tea with mango pudding. $ 3.50 for regular size + $ 0.50 for the mango pudding. The milk tea was made just the way I like it and rivals my favourite ones at Chatime or Marathon. The mango pudding was silky smooth and same can be said about the actual milk tea as well. Also got a chance to try one of their fruity bubble teas with basil seeds $ 4.50 for large. It was sweet and sour and the same time. I typically don’t drink the fruity ones; I’m more of a sweet tooth, but this one was okay. The place was empty on a Friday afternoon around 2:30pm so service was excellent. It gets a solid 3.5 stars for me

Decided to give this place a try after receiving one of their flyers! I just ordered take out so I didn’t get to dine in :$ This place is still pretty new so a lot of things were unavailable, and their menu also had a ton of spelling mistakes -.-‘ Anyways, the food was actually much better than I thought! I got one of their coconut puddings where you eat out of a real coconut and it was really tasty! I got the lychee flavour and I love how there are different layers inside with real lychee too!~ Their durian layer cake was pretty yum~ I got some of their sweet soups and they were good too! Nothing was terrible so thumbs up!!~ The service was good, the lady was very friendly and honest. I originally wanted to try their papaya pudding but she said that it didn’t come out very nice that day so she recommended the coconut. Overall, I would like to come again when they are more settled because there are still a lot of things that I want to try!~

This place is awesome, I’m completely hooked to the triple jelly milk tea, Its like awesomeness inside your mouth. I can’t even figure out the different jellys inside but I’ll tell you what, it fit perfectly. The place is clean and the owner is nice, a very nice environment to chill or study.

This place is a great place to work or study. Music isn’t too loud, it’s not packed, nice and bright, super clean, tea is great, and most importantly, wifi is stable and fast. What more could you ask for?

Came tonight to grab a few drinks to go. We arrived at 10.30 and there was nobody in the store. We ordered a matcha slush, mango slush, mango yakult and matcha yakult. The drinks are ok, you can customise the sugar and ice levels. The yakult drinks did have 1 yakult in each drink but you can hardly taste it because they add some other liquid to it. I wouldn’t get those again. The slushes were nice. They have a BOGO offer on, at the moment, but it includes all their drinks except for the yakult ones. I don’t think this place will be as popular as the 2 opposite because they don’t serve any foods here, only drinks.

Ok… we went back again to take advantage of the BOGO deal. I ordered the triple jelly milk tea again, the tea flavour this time was a bit lighter than the last one I had but it was still loaded with jelly and tasted ok just not as good as the previous one(a different girl made it this time so perhaps that’s the reason it didn’t taste the same). My friend order the kumquat lemon and like it very much however I had a sip of it and it was too sour to my liking. I took a copy of the menu and obviously they didn’t spell check.
