Twinbytes has been around since2004 but Daniel (Owner/technician) has been in the industry years earlier and practicing on computer since DOS and Unix, before the first version of Windows was released. There was no such thing has hard drives or even floppies which are long extinct now. We used tapes to run the computer.
Our specialty is computer repair but we do much more. Daniel’s written the book on computers which is said to «Level the playing field between computer technicians and non-technical people». Too many people getting ripped off by other technicians and CBC MarketPlace did a video on it which you can find on Daniel’s books website www. tech-knowledgybook.ca Daniel has been interviewed on television and radio explaining how he helps people to help themselves, save money and avoid being ripped off by computer technicians.
History
Established in 2004.
Twinbytes was named after business owner’s (Daniel’s) twin daughters.
Many people asked me if I know someone that could help them with their computers while I was working at another company. I said «I know myself, I can help.» So the business started.
Now today, Twinbytes has won an award for best computer repair in Markham, certificates for contributing information at seminars, etc. Much contribution to the community and serves on the Markham BIA board of directors to help all the local business in our area.
It funny, one comment heard many times is «Other technicians seem to walk with their head down and don’t say hi or talk to anyway. You (Daniel) are more friendly and sociable and easy to work with.»

Law enforcement graduate, past piece officer working as a Volunteer Probation Officer, security guard, private investigator and helping do secret honesty checks on cashiers.
Daniel loves working with computers and really enjoys teaching people which makes him the perfect technician to talk to and really understand and learn from. People say «Daniel is not your typical computer geek or nerd».
