Favourite Chinese take-out place in Milton. It may be odd, but one of my benchmarks for Chinese take-out is the chicken balls — these ones are fantastic with a generous chicken-to-breading ratio, I find most are way too much breading.

The place is really close to school so I go in all the time. It’s really cheap for food for the size you’re getting, so it’s a good deal. The general tso chicken is the best I’ve ever had so far. I’m not sure why the previous guy said the rice is microwaved rice because I see them carrying out a huge container of rice from the rice cooker a few time at lunch. This place is amazing.

I work in Milton but live elsewhere so I asked. Coworkers where a good Chinese place is. They all said Mr. dumpling so I gave it a try. The first time I had general Tao chicken with fried rice and it was mediocre at best.
I gave it 1 more try a few weeks later and got the lemon chicken with plain rice. The lemon chicken was huge but not in the traditional batter I was expecting and the sauce was lemon flavored water that didn’t even stick to the chicken,
But the killer was the fact that I was given microwaved rice in a Chinese restaurant. i still cant get over it. Horribly tasting microwaved rice. Anyone who eats Chinese regularly knows these places keep rice cookers going ²⁴⁄₇ so to see a styrofoam container full of microwaved rice was the last straw.
I will not be returning.

To me, Chinese take-out is comfort food. In order for it to be successful, I need it to be delicious. Mr. Dumpling has succeeded in making my comfort food experience as it should be on several occasions. They have even made adjustments to their recipes for my friends who do not eat certain things (like pork in the singapore noodle dish). If you need a Chinese food fill, I recommend getting it here.
