My mother and I had a terrible experience the first time we visited this Walmart! We noticed there was a lottery booth by the front entrance. My mother wanted to check her ticket so we stopped by. The cashier lady at this booth was extremely rude and unfriendly towards us. My mother tried to hand her ticket to the cashier but she told her to use the scanning machine to the side. This was the first time my mother has encountered the ticket scanning machine. After spending 5 minutes trying to figure out how to scan her ticket, the cashier gave her vague instructions, «Scan the ticket at the bottom.» But my mother doesn’t understand English so I tried to translate and explain to her on how to scan her ticket. There was a long line of 4 – 5 people forming behind us. After no progress, I tried to help my mother further by guiding the barcode to the scanner and this was when the cashier lady rudely snapped at me, «EXCUSEME! AREYOU18?». Her tone of voice, volume and the mean glare she gave took me by surprise. I replied back, «No, I was only trying to help her.» Then she rudely answered back with, «then DON’T touch the ticket.» I was completely frozen and speechless, trying to figure out why I wasn’t allowed to touch the ticket.(I would also like to mention that I would have turned 18 in a month or two then). After a frustrating 10 minutes passed, my mother still couldn’t scan her ticket and without saying anything, the cashier ended up yanking the ticket out of my mother’s hand and then scanning it herself. We don’t feel comfortable coming back to this location because our first interaction with the staff here was not welcoming at all. The lady could have taken so many different friendlier approaches in this situation.

5 stars for customer service and friendly staff 4 stars for not having a hair salon 5 stars for mcdonalds inside few weeks ago i went to this walmart to buy some groceries(roughly around $ 20). the cashier put my stuff in multiple bags and the customer ahead of me took my bag of groceries. i had some fruit like oranges bananas apples strawberries other vegetables and something else i cannot remember. i went hotel without noticing it and then in the kitchen i realized i forgot my bag and still had the receipt. i looked in the car and did not find it so i knew i must have forgotten it on the lane. i returned back to the walmart to the same lane and asked the lady if she has my bag of groceries and she could not find anything on the conveyor belt or around her register. so i went to the customer service desk and explained the situation to the lady. both ladies told me to simply go and bring everything that you think I am missing. so i go pickup the same amount of fruits and vegetables and bring back to the customer service desk. the lady told me «have a nice day sir» with a big smile on her face. i felt very appreciated and thanked them so much and remember it to the date and share my experience with everyone. keep up the good work Wal-Mart. we need more great customer service reps like these girls in Milton.

This place is what should not count on, they are always out of advertised specials. Their Auto department sucks the most, they have a slogan that they are running few hours behind and either you will have to come back or make an appointment. and just for that they get 2 **.

Mah … It’s a Walmart. It has what you need, when you need it, that’s it. Don’t expect anything more. Also, it’s a supercentre, so if you are like seeing those really cool refrigerators that turn the light on when you walk in front of them, this is the store to see them in. That’s it.

Not all Walmarts are created equal… And I’m not about to laud this one. Thank goodness Milton is a growing town… otherwise no one would set foot in this place. In a few years, this place is gonna be crazy… not in a good way. I walked in last Sunday, and there were hella people.(pardon my nor-cal) It’s to be expected, right? Ugh… why do I bother. I waited in a ridiculously long self-serve line to purchase some cough drops and gum. I figured it’d be better than the assisted check-outs where people had things by the cartload. It’s not as disheveled as some I’ve seen in the states. Thank goodness for that. It’s right off the freeway. Good amount of parking. If you’re lucky, you can get in and out and on with life in the most minimal amount of discomfort… Weird side note: I was browsing the accessories section and while checking out a woman’s tote bag, I found a bottle or nail polish & eye liner… hmmmmmmmm… I don’t think walmart bags contain freebies. …yeah… *awkward*
