Apollo Convention Centre

Thoroughly disappointing customer service. We had to deal with Mr. Basi and this man has no respect for your time. We waited hour and a half for our food testing without anyone attending us. When we get the items for food testing, we had numerous people walk through our room. Of course Mr. Basi was busy having drinks with another client in the room beside. The apology we got was «this happens in food testing.» Furthermore, the food given to us at the event was completely different and had a prominently smelling chicken. Upon complain, the cook says, «this is how it is.» We realized he changed the cook on us. If that wasn’t enough, they refused to set up the food if we didn’t pay the remaining fee. We had waiting 2 hours for Mr. Basi before our event to settle all payment. He failed to show up. We had to leave in the middle of our event to pay his associate. Lastly, we had left behind a basket in the bridal suite. Mr. Basi decided to ignore our calls — we never got in touch with anyone to pick up the basket. We are sure none of our guests would be hosting their events at this venue and we give you heads up on the poor management of this hall.

This Convention Centre is one of the newest one you can find in Mississauga, I have been there for couple of wedding and other events. The light and style is very elegant and complements any event. The theme of the who centre is Black and White and you could see that in flooring and designs across the halls.
There is some beautiful furniture located in the main common area for all the halls to take some nice pictures as well as they have a fountain (kinda) where water runs within the wall and changes color.
There is plenty of parking on the main floor and above the centre as well as they above parking is connected with an elevator and stairs.
There are separate rooms for bride and groom to stay in till its time to show off ;) on the their big day.
There food is pretty decent and enjoyable, the servers have been great at all the events I have been there for.
