Most incompetent form of delivery service EVER. They don’t attempt to actually deliver anything, they just send it to the post office for pick up.
I whole heartedly now support removing this service and decreasing wasted tax dollars.
For people to not do their job and get paid very substantially… this is ridiculous.

Well this is a great show of your tax dollars at work. I tried calling Canada Post to make a claim for a lost package. I got what I thought was the standard greeting message to work through the automated system. No, this message was something to the effect of «we’re experiencing a high call volume and cannot accept your call, try going online to find an answer to your question». Does Canada Post not have a hold system?
Wait yes they do! You can just go online and try one of about 6 different toll free numbers until you get through the automated system.
