Excellent customer service at the airport = A great start to a trip I usually buy something small at the airport for my pals and relatives that I’m going to visit in other cities, if I’m early for my flight. Tea seemed like a good choice, since it doesn’t know gender or age. It’s a good gift for an entire family. They have a wide variety of fruity and lovely smelling teas. You can serve their tea warm or chilled, and either way it tastes great. The lady who works here told me about their popular drinks and let me sample 3 different kinds of tea. I finally picked one for purchase and also got to choose a pretty and colourful tin container. I’m glad I tried something new and my pal loved her gift.

I have to say that my experience with David’s Tea at the Toronto airport was fantastic. I came in from an international flight quite exhausted, and had never been to a David’s Tea store. I wanted to browse but not be bothered, and the gentleman who approached me was super respectful of that, and also let me charge up my computer — I didn’t even have to buy anything! Needless to say, I spent about $ 40 there overall, and that has 100% to do with the customer service I received. Well done to whoever is responsible for hiring, and of course to the staff themselves, who really are exceptional. One might think that outstanding service is about being attentive, but the fact that this gentleman welcomed me with no strings attached shows that he was really attuned. Thanks! I’m enjoying my Mango Madness at work right now!

The Asian lady in her 20’s was very helpful. I wanted to buy a travel mug, and she explained to me all of the features of it. I asked if I could have a tea in the mug and she kindly agreed. She washed it out for me, and even put my tea in a tea bag so it would be easier to dispose of later. The customer service here is very good!

Thank goodness for the David’s Tea experience at Pearson. If you’re at gate D, make sure you try it. My only regret is that I didn’t get the manager’s name! She was wonderful! Knowledgable and attentive and seemed completely engaged with her customers. I didn’t mean to spend $ 40 but I don’t mind a bit that I did. Great store and it’s the staff that truly make this location unique and exciting.

I had some bogus stew and was feeling tummy-bad at the airport. In a slight panic, I hit up this David’s location — conveniently located a few metres from our gate — and asked the attendant if they had anything to cure what ailed me. She pulled out all the stops, and had me ready to fly in comfort with a ginger something-something tea. Great success!

I have been a fan of this store since they opened their first retail location in 2008 on Queen street W. If you are not drawn in by their unique storefronts, teal accessories or enticing tea aromas then a «Tea guide» must have enticed you into the store with a yummy Tea of the Day sample. DAVIDs TEA makes tea fun, modern and fashionable(check out their super cute travel mugs, it’ll turn heads as you carry yours down Queen street!). And the best part? It’s a CANADIAN company with knowledgeable and authentic staff who are truly passionate about tea. This location is nestled in the Terminal 1 domestic wing so if you are flying with Air Canada within our country, you are in luck! They are located near gate 34 with beautiful views of the tarmac and ample seating. There are also electrical outlets at the bar seating — perfect for charging your phone or working on your laptop. Consider saving room in your carry on for some tea. They have great travel options and gift ideas if you need a last minute gift for that aunt you are staying with or the baby shower you are attending. One great thing about DAVIDs TEA, which makes it perfect for us jetsetters is that there are no minimums when buying loose leaf tea. This means you can pick up 25 grams of a few teas to try on your journey, while not weighing you down. My favourites: 1) Guangzhou Milk Oolong — the best straight tea that they carry. Creamy, velvety & smooth, one sip will have you feeling like you are sitting above the clouds on Wuyi mountain — where the tea is picked. 2) Coffee Pu-erh — as a coffee addict, this dark tea gives any dark roast coffee a run for it’s money. It is earthy, bold and wakes up your metabolism! 3) Cold 911 — if you are sick, try this. If you are not sick, still try it. It is refreshing, soothing and perfect to sip any time of day(caffeine free) 4) Green & Fruit — this rooibos tea is my go-to after a workout to help replenish electrolytes and hydrate. Try it iced! This location is a great addition to the DAVIDs Tea family. I hope they open in more airport locations!

I’ve got a serious tea addicition, and David’s Tea is the reason. Not only do they have a vast selection of loose-leaf teas(both just the leaves, and flavoured), their staff is often helpful(if you’re lost in a sea of tea) and incredibly friendly. If you’re looking for something to try, ask for(my personal favourites) Quangzhou Milk Oolong, or the Aloha Pu’erh! If you want something iced, try the limited-to-summer Tropicalia :)

Finally a good tea place has opened up at the airport. Our selection was quite limited until now. Sample their tea of the day, ask about different teas depending on your mood. They open early at 6am. Perfect before your morning flight. 25⁄3 of 30 Days of Unilocal
