Ideal Honda

Well we bought ours first brand new Honda Odyssey 2 years ago from Ahmed Omean which by the way was very good at the time of sale. Me and my wife would always follow the service minder on the dash and took it into Ideal Honda for the service the first time at 10k. The second time my wife being short on time and having to care for three children decided to take it into Mr Lube inside Walmart. Well at around 15k the car had a bit of a shake on the steering wheel which i thought was a bit odd from a new vehicle, I’ve had older vehicles with 100k + that didn’t experience this.
I decided than to look this up online and to my surprise its ongoing problem on the Odysseys that people have being experiencing. So i told my self on my next service ill take it in personally and explain the problem to the Technician. Well that’s where my satisfaction ended. From the moment i walked in i notice a bit of a hesitation for the techs to help me (made an appointment) so i reached out to Nick and he asked me if i had done the B service in that location in which i replied «no» my wife took it to Mr. Lube.
From that moment his attitude changed and told me because i took it there the shake on my steering wouldn’t be covered. I told him it was outrageous and i wanted to see where it says that, he said its in your Manual i asked him if he could show me and he replied «IM NOT IN SALES GO SPEAK TO A SALES REP FOR THAT «. So Asked to speak to a sales rep which told me i had to speak to the service Manager which was on a «meeting». So i waited for 25min just to speak to a sales rep which basically listened to my concern and basically told me there wasn’t much he could do but he’s going to try something for me. Two hours later i received a price of over $ 600 dollars for Maintenance + Repairs with and that was with a %10 discount.
So here I am 2 years later and I am spending $ 630 on a New Honda. They claim it wasn’t covered because i took it somewhere else for service but the truth is they weren’t going to cover it anyways. For that reason, i feel ripped off and mislead, when i bought the car no one told me i had to come to this location for service or else things wouldn’t be covered under warranty. Beware if you are buying an Odyssey any time soon this is an ongoing problem (search it «shaking on the steering wheel») and Dealers like IDEAL HONDA are trying to avoid repairing it without you paying.

The staff at this location is very friendly.
I have leased a car from here and the sales person Azam Riffat was very good in finding us a deal to meet my budget. His service was exceptional!
I also come here to service my car and its decent, there are no deal but the service is seamless and they don’t to play around with words and ripe you off as the other Mississauga Honda location. They don’t have an in house car wash, so there will be no complimentary wash.
They also have a nice mini waiting lounge area for people waiting, which includes a TV (sports or new playing), Free Wifi, Magazines, New papers and kids play area.

Never more I will take my car there, to expensive and not results

I am not the easiest buyer to deal with as I buy and sell things for a living half of my adult life. To say that I am Mr. frugal would be an understatement. I am polite but I am somewhat of a demanding customer who shops for the best deal and hopes to receive the best service; that is exactly what I got from Ideal Honda and Mr. Sergio Khatibi.
Ideal Honda provided top notch VIP service beyond my expectations when I bought my Honda Odyssey this week. Sergio was helpful, patient, and honest. I did my homework before I walked in to the dealership and I was glad to speak with staff who was being straight forward with me while being super helpful.
After I negotiated a fair price for the car, I was introduced to Mr. Jose Alaan, who is the Finance Manager for the dealership. He offered me some options on the vehicle purchase, without the typical high pressure tactics used by others with his job title. After the purchase, picking up the vehicle went smooth.
Sergio treated me like I purchased a Boeing 747 and I was the Sultan of Brunei when I went to pick up my Odyssey. Sergio explained and walked me through the vehicle meticulously with care. I am enjoying the radio stations he programmed for me. Sergio hooked up my cell phone to the vehicle via Bluetooth.
He then walked me to the service department and introduced me to the service staff who were also pleasant. Last time I purchased my Honda at another dealership, I got a thank you nod, a pat on the back, and my keys as I drove my Honda off the lot. I got whole lot more from Ideal Honda and Sergio.
Thank you thank you! I will be back for my second car at Ideal Honda for sure.

Buying a new car for the first time; walked around the lot and was not chased down by salesmen, I like to take my time and have a look first before asking questions. George was of great help in my negotiation experience (I wish I paid $$ for carhaggle or carhelpcanada to see the discounts I could get) but I think I got a pretty good value for my car. George stayed late finalizing my purchase, he had plenty of patience for me and also went above and beyond coming into work on his day off to get me a loan car while my new car gets its final touches and detailed. Brian the manager made sure I had a satisfying experience he gave me a new honda to drive around in for couple days and much more. Im glad I picked ideal honda over the other ones ive already visited. Altho they did make me pay for the tint that was already on the car which cost me 300 (upsetting)

I was referred here because there are suppsedly good reviews online for this place. I must have read wrong or some posts are lying because this place was the pits.
First of all, the dealership is small. Second, we were in there for almost five minutes and no one came to acknowledge us. Way to lose a $ 35,000 sale!

These guys are cons, charging exorbitant amounts for their service and lying about what needs to be done with the car. On top of that, the staff are dismissive with only a select few coming across well. Make sure if you need work done on your car that you find a shop through a referral and don’t feel obligated to go here.
Alternatively, if you have a new Honda and want Honda service, go to Toronto Honda. Their level of service is amazing and they show integrity. I didn’t think dealerships still offered that, but they definitely do.
