At Kate’s Town Talk Bakery, we bake from scratch, on-site, in small batches throughout the day.
Butter tarts and scones are our specialty. Using my Grandma Doris’ recipe, we bake a butter tart that will rival the best you have ever tasted. We also bake a wide variety of cookies, squares, fruit pies and cakes.
We bake bread on site daily, that we use for our yummy sandwiches. Savoury beef pies, chicken pies, sausage rolls and quiche are on the menu too
Looking to have a meeting or function catered? We do that too! Sandwich trays, salads, veggie trays and fruit trays… not to mention our yummy breakfast scone platters and dessert trays.

It feels like I have been baking all my life. I am not professionally trained, rather, have learned from my mom and grandma’s and through a lot of trial and error. I left the corporate world in 2009 and started a home-based catering company. When the opportunity presented itself to buy Town Talk Bakery, I jumped at the chance and haven’t looked back since.
