History

Established in 2001.

Onaré has been servicing the Mississauga, Toronto, Etobicoke, Oakville and Burlington area for the past 15 years. We started as a small salon with the single goal of becoming the best example of what a hair salon should be. In 2014 and 2015 we were voted the Top hair salon in Mississauga, and are nominated again in 2016…

Mario grew up in a family that celebrated the arts. With the inspiration of two sisters and nearly a dozen female cousins, he dreamed early on of becoming a great hairdresser.

In 2006, Mario was awarded the Contessa award for the category «Session stylist of the year» and in 2010 he was a finalist for a by nomination only category «Elite Master Stylist». Fashion television and various beauty trade publications have featured the work of Onaré salon. Its hairdressers have created the stunning looks that have adorned the pages of such top beauty magazines as FLARE, Glow and Chatelaine. Mario’s client list has included Supermodel Daria Werbowy, Pussy cat Dolls, Nigella Lawson, many of Canada’s top working models and CBC News anchor Anne-​Marie Mediwake, included in Hello magazine’s list of Canada’s 50 most beautiful people among others.
