Our landlord got us this Groupon for three rooms and a hallway, up to 500 sq ft: I had an email exchange with them for booking the appointment, however they didn’t reply to confirm the day and time, so I had to call them the day before the proposed time to confirm the appointment. Two minutes before the scheduled appointment, I got a call saying that one of their earlier clients had requested additional cleaning, and so they would be two hours late. Uh, excuse me? If one of your earlier customers requests additional work, you schedule another appointment for another time or day. You don’t make your later customers wait two hours. So I have no choice but to wait two hours, which comes and goes. They’re late and I don’t get a call. I decide to give them a call because I’d like to leave for work already(that’s right, I took the day off just to sit at home waiting for them). I suggest to them that perhaps they shouldn’t book further cleanings in place of already-scheduled cleanings. Their response? The guy on the other line starts yelling at me about how I don’t know how the business works and about how after accounting for gas, driving to places, etc. they don’t make that much money. It was especially infuriating as he kept saying«You don’t know how this works, my dear» in a condescending tone. Since all I wanted to do was get a time for when they would be coming, all I said in response was, «Please call me back when you have a time for me.» What I should have said? «Well guess what buddy, if you guys can’t afford the Groupon, then don’t offer the goddamn Groupon, and you definitely don’t yell at your customers when you are the ones who are late.» I ended up getting a call from the owner saying that they couldn’t even come at all that day, and we had to reschedule for the next day. So essentially I took the entire day off work, moved all the furniture out of the bedrooms, and waited around at home for several hours for nothing. Anyway, I was guaranteed that the owner would personally show up at 9:30/10am over the phone, which he did the next morning, right on time. He said that the coupon didn’t cover taxes and that because of all the«stains» in the room(none of which were overtly visible to me), he’d have to charge an extra $ 30. Right, because clearly I require professional carpet cleaning services for only slightly dirty carpets. At the end of the cleaning, I asked for a receipt so my landlord could reimburse me, and was told by the owner himself to request it over email instead. So I did, and got a reply saying(verbatim): «Hello, we do not send receipts via email. You where suppose [sic] to ask the tech to give you one». I emailed back saying the owner himself requested that I ask for a receipt over email. No response. I called them again and re-requested the receipt, and was told that it would be mailed to me. The holidays come and go, and a month later — still no receipt. I called them again in early January to request a receipt AGAIN and am promised that it will be mailed to me. A week goes by, and by that point I am pretty sure I will never see that receipt, so here I am posting a review on Unilocal. This is one of the worst service experiences I’ve ever had. If you’re looking to get your carpets cleaned, I’d strongly recommend against this company.

First time I used this company was with a living social deal. It was easy to book via email and they were early for the appointment. They did more area than covered by the voucher for an extra $ 20 and said the next time I could get the same deal($ 40 voucher plus $ 20 so $ 60 for the same area). They were quick as well so I decided to book them again. They did not show up for the appointment, did not call or email to change. Will not be using this service again despite it being a good deal
