This place was amazing!!! I was just walking down the road with my family when we saw a huge crowd by the store so we went in to check it out. We got soooo overwhelmed by the amount of people and the amount of ice cream!!! They offer gelato(dairy-free is available) and other regular ice-cream(nutella, chocolate, hazelnut, red velvet, etc.) I got peanut butter chocolate and brownies and I thought it was AMAZING. even though it was soo much chocolate but it wasnt too crazy! I got the waffles and two scoops(one of each flavors) they were filled till the bottom so i really got a lot lol Me and my family got 3 cones and one in a cup(all with 2 scoops) and the amount came to just a little over $ 20 which I thought was very great. roughly $ 5 for two huge scoops! Even though the line was super huge we got served very fast. Just make sure you get a walk around first so you know exactly what you want since the servers will rush your order.

My husband and I decided to try this place on a super humid day, so we ordered two cones of ice cream with two different flavours(toasted coconut/watermelon and cookie dough/coconut berry) in each. We were super excited as they have many different flavours available, making it quite a challenge to decide on what to order. We mostly stuck with their most popular options but I have to say that I was not impressed at all. The ice cream flavours are quite bland and not rich at all. The toasted coconut tasted like plain dairy ice cream and had no coconut flavour at all. Out of 4 different flavours that I tried, I was only impressed with the watermelon sorbet but the others were just okay. This place is far from horrible but certainly nothing to rave about.

#PORTCREDIT # UnilocalGTA #ICECREAMSAUGA Can you tell that I’ve been ice cream binging? Hot damn, this season! I tried Scoops before I tried Marble Slab. So, with just Baskin Robbins and the likes to compare, Scoops was on par. I still prefer BR or Laura, but I think I may be alone on that one. Scoops is Canadian-made and there’s tons of flavours to choose from! The quality of ice cream didn’t wow me(my usual go-to is Chocolate) but I think the Port Credit location really works wonders. If you walk by Scoops on a hot day, I can almost guarantee a walk in. Especially, because of the new boutique-ish, inviting feel that the usual chains fail to offer. Ankie Tip: 1 scoop is big enough.

On the one hand, Scoops has a bounty of flavors of typical, amazing Canadian ice cream. On the other hand, the waffle cones are not great, and the gelato flavors are way inferior to the regular ice cream flavors. To boot, the service wasn’t great, and they don’t have a public bathroom. Yikes. Perhaps the best in Port Credit, but I’m looking elsewhere next time.

Scoops Ice Cream is a good neighbourhood ice cream joint at Port Credit. Frozen Yogurt? Ice Cream? Gelato? Sherbet? or all the above In a cup, a cone, milkshake, sundae? They all sounds good! So good to enjoy a cooling treat on a hot summer day! Staff is helpful and nice. They might even start making their own ice cream soon!

First of all I love ice cream! Given that it is finally warm I decided to go for some! I am a huge fan of chocolate and peanut butter, so true to my predictable self that’s what I went for! Prices are great and the ice cream is good quality, as are the servings and the availability of toppings! Great way to fuel up for this afternoon’s yard work!

Now that the weather is getting better(finally) ice cream is always the answer to cure that sweet tooth! This cute little ice cream shop offers milkshakes, Fro-Yo, Gelato and lovely ice cream. With many Flavours to offer it was hard to choose but one definately caught my taste eye… vanilla ice cream w/raspberry and White Chocolate… on a waffle cone of course. My taste buds went wild. Such an awesome flavour, great mixture! It is also very affordable… i think i paid $ 3…So cheap! For one Huge Scoop and the waffle cone all together… Another plus. They do take debit and cash although when i went their debit wasn’t working but i mean for the affordable price my Change paid for it. The staff here are very nice and helpful when choosing a flavour. The shop itself is a bit small but very cute. There is some window seating but since the nice weather has arrived why not go for a walk and enjoy some sun!

Diet be dammed, it was hot, I was walking the streets of Port Credit(yes. again), and I needed to cool my heels(and every other part of my body). As I stopped to rest on a bench I took notice of the people walking past me with glorious scoops of ice cream and fro-yo. I turned and realized I had taken refuge in the shade provided by Scoops awning. Not one overlook an obvious sign, I ventured in to tempt my fate. Knowing I wanted to cool down, have something delicious AND be healthy I asked what my choices were. After the staff ran me through about 50 different flavours, the informed that if healthy and delicious was my goal, that there made to order fro-yo should do the trick. I agreed and ordered possibly the largest SMALL I’ve ever seen. Thankfully they had my fave combo of frozen strawberries and banana on hand to make this and I soon walked out $ 4 paid and $ 100 happier! Cool off here this summer(and maybe winter), I hear they make a mean Milkshake as well! Eatcrest Out!

Used to be my prime ice cream spot every time I’m at Port Credit. However I havent been back after being introduced to Gregs and Ed’s real scoop, I would skip this and would rather make the trip to T.O. it was nice knowing you but I havent been and wont be back for quite a while

This tiny ice cream parlor has some great flavors to offer up. Beware of summer lineups as there is barely any room in front of the long freezer. My once-in-a-while treat is to get a cookies and cream milkshake from here. They make them quite thick. Great place!

This place is super cute and their ice cream is great! Fun names for interesting flavours! They have gelato as well and I got this amazing tiramisu/nutella gelato combo and it was soooo good. Who says ice cream can’t be dinner?

This is the only ice cream I’ve ever thrown out half-eaten. If only they served their ice cream in a sugar cone/waffle cone instead of the dull-tasting wafer cone. It makes a big difference methinks. I love chocolate ice cream and they did not have a good variety.

This place is a tiny ice cream parlour right in the centre of Lakeshore traffic. Because of the long weekend, they were out of majority of the good flavours. I was in a pickle. There’s 2 things I usually do at this point, go crazy and start yelling about how I’m going to ruin the reputation of the place by posting a horrid review on Unilocal,or try a new flavour or 2: p I opted for the latter. Lime & lemon sorbet — very refreshing, almost like a cold sprite on a hot day. No lie. Espresso Robusto — delicious. I added some cookies and crème bits and pieces as a topping, which only added the chocolaty flavour. This is a cappuccino ice cream lovers dream. The price is decent, about $ 7.00 for 2 ice cream in cups(2 scoops each) They also have frozen yogurt — which is precisely why I would come back. Sadly, they were all out. 00 — what. THE. HAYWIRE? The funnest feature about this place? — there’s a train set on the ceiling. So, while you wait for your ice cream, you get to see the train go all the around the store. This alone is enough of a reason for me to come back. and yes, I am aware it’s for kids. xoxo M.
