This is my go to udon place. The udon broth is amazing! It’s not too salty but not bland. The sushi is OK, pretty much what you’d expect for mall food. I recommend their spicy salmon, they actually use fresh tempura bits unlike other places(AYCE places are notorious for this) where they use old stale tempura bits. Their tempura has a slight ginger taste to it which actually tastes good. I’ve had a few times when ordering tempura where I was told they ran out but because my mom works for Oxford Properties(the property management company that runs Square One) she’s told me its because they get lazy to turn on their deep fryer. The pricing is what you’d expect for sushi mall food & it’s very rare that I’ve seen them have sushi sales at the end of day like their sushi competitors(ie; Su & Shi, Mac sushi). The people working there are ok, sometimes they are nice sometimes they seem like they’re having a bad day. I haven’t tried their bento dishes like their katsu or salmon teriyaki because they don’t look too appealing; they sit with the refrigerated sushi. I have seen people order it & it being warmed up in a microwave, but I can’t imagine it being any good. Overall, I would recommend eating only the sushi & freshly cooked items like the tempura & soups. Watch out when paying… There’s a $ 0.25 surcharge for debit &VISA.
