Established in 2001.

Our mission at Uncommon Ground is to preserve the Craft and Precision of design in Landscape Construction and to allow the client the power of knowledge and control from the concept and budget to the selection of material options without compromise.

It begins with passion, that incontrollable emotion in us to create exterior environments where lives are changed by the seemingly simple composition of space and material. This single powerful emotion is the engine that drives us to blend the unique visions of our clients with innovative design techniques to create uncommon ground.

For over a decade, Principal Designer and owner of Uncommon Ground Design Group Inc., Gary van Eijk, has served clients internationally to help transform their landscaping dreams into reality. Regardless of the scope of a project, our goal is to engage in every aspect of open space design. We work with our clients, trades and suppliers simultaneously to produce excellence in landscape design.
