Brought a picture of simple beach waves and left with the polar opposite. Maybe I went on an off day… the stylist was quite rude and didn’t speak to me or offer a drink. When I politely asked her to make my hair look a bit less «done» she told
Me it was fine. Not impressed, especially given what I paid. Will not return.

Excellent service! The original place I booked cancelled my appointment for no reason. My sister was getting her hair and make up done at Blome and they squeezed me in without making me feel rushed. My hair and make up looked great and so was pricing. definitely going back when I’m in the area.

Here for my second visit! Monday and Tuesday has a gel and shellac special, and the colour choices are great! Also got a free blow out last time as my nail artist was running late and she did a great job with my short hair. In addition their space is beautiful and the staff are super sweet! I’ll be back for sure!

Love this place. It’s clean and bright, the staff is super friendly, they’ve got delicious lattes and tasty biscotti and they ALWAYS have good music playing. I haven’t tried the blow out services but I get my gel mani and regular pedi’s done there often and it’s always on point. If you give it a try, book an appointment with Chiara. She’s my go to girl!

Updating my review after having had a blow out by Daphne. I’ll start by saying that I was skeptical at the beginning. I have thick, coily natural (not chemically relaxed), nearly bra-​strap length Black/​African American hair that shrinks to shoulder length when I wear it natural. It straightens somewhat easily but can for sure be a challenge and I HATE HATE HATE doing it myself.
My blow out started with an oh soooooooooooooo good hair wash and scalp massage. I NEVER get my hair done so this was a real treat. Daphne blew out then added some loose curls in 1 hour and 7 minutes (It would have taken me 2 hours or more to achieve the same outcome). While my hair wasnt as straight as other places have gotten it (primarily Dry Bar in the States) I enjoyed that Daphne didn’t use a flat iron (less heat is a good thing, right?) and that it was soft and bouncy. She even got my tips to look fresh. When I straghten my own hair my ends look like someone chewed on them for days. I wrapped my hair as soon as I got home and it was more straight by morning.
Now about a week later, after wrapping it most nights and adding a bit of Moroccan oil every couple of days my hair is STILL soft, still bouncy, and regularly brings me compliments. For the month of October they have a promo — on Mondays and Tuesdays (I believe) get a mani/​blow out combo for $ 60. I’ll be taking advantage!
I don’t see many people that look like me in Blome getting their hair done, but hopefully this review is helpful to other brown girls looking for a good blow out. Give Blome a try!

Very nice staff, cute interior, and it’s nice you get mimosas and stuff (one free and pay for the rest) but not worth the cost… They wash your hair quickly and not thoroughly. If you show them what you want, what you get doesn’t match the photo. My curls also fell out before I left the establishment, and there’s a hefty tax charge. I paid like $ 65 I think before tip, for literally, nothing, but one mimosa. Disappointing, particularly since it was for my friend’s bachelorette party. Wouldn’t recommend this place or go back :(

I stopped in while visiting Montréal, I was staying in Old Montréal and walked over. The experience reminded me very much of Drybar which I am a huge fan of so if you’ve been there you’ll have an idea what to expect here. Kim did my blowout and she is wonderful. I have long, thick hair and she handled it with ease. She also asked a lot of questions to understand what I wanted. The style was beautiful, even my bf commented how great my hair looked. Thanks Kim! Wish I lived closer

No words can do this place justice! It’s a heaven of a salon, Kim and Audrey have created a sanctuary for the hair! If you want good hair, a luxury experience and a bubbly mimosa then this is the place to go! Every time I am there i love it more and more! Really a fabulous place to go in Montréal and get good hair! So happy to have found this amazing gem of a spot!

Great ambiance !! The staff greeted us with a smile and a complimentary drink to start off the services. We were a group of girls who went for a bachelorette and we were all sitting side by side along their bar watching sex in the city :) The blowouts were immaculate and held for longer than my average blowouts. A must try !

I went in to get my hair done with a few of my friends and I absolutely loved it! The place is great and the staff is super nice! Not only that the girls do great hair do’s, blow outs and braids while your sipping away a mimosa! Will definitely go back :)

My friend got a shellac manicure which started chipping on day 2. My own regular manicure chipped on the very next day. Not a very precise paint job and a lot of bubbling. Beautiful space but poor quality service for nails. You are better off going to rouge nail bar. Cannot comment on hair services, however friend’s blowout did look pretty well done.

BLOME, is amazing! Super convenient location is just a bonus to the friendly staff, beautiful and clean space, and of course the amazing blowouts provided by fabulous people!
I had the pleasure of stopping by, and was totally blown away with the great vibe BLOME has to offer. My experience was all smiles from the minute I walked in until the very end!
