I made an appointment for esthetic care with Mrela. She was prompt, and very professional. She listened to my concerns and tailored her services to my specific needs. She was very sensitive to my pain level and comforting. And the spa only charged me 1⁄3 of what I ordinarily pay in Los Angeles. 20.00! What a bargain for great service!

I was disappointed. Being part of the Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth and with the prices charged for services, I would expect a higher end service. I was booked for a facial, after viewing my skin the esthetician recommended an additional treatment and told me that this day they were having a special of 30% discount on both services and products, neither of which was true when I checked out. The facial cost $ 115. The esthetician cleansed my skin, applied two products and then applied a commercial prepared pre-packaged facial cloth to my face. And then she left the room for 15 minutes! She came back, took off the cloth and voila, that was it. It wasn’t much more than a Friday night facial I might do at home. My skin is completely unchanged, no different. I’ve paid less for facials that transformed my skin so I can’t recommend them for any kind of skin care.

Meh… Girl at the reception desk was very nice. Staff was ok, service was subpar. Owner is extremely loud and you can hear him from across the room, yelling at his staff, that’s extremely unprofessional. Definitely will not be coming back to this place. If I could give it zero stars I would. Just look at how the owner responded to one of the reviews below. He responded as a childish, non customer oriented owner. I think that is proof enough to not give Gibson Spa a chance.

If I could give it a lower rating I would. The woman rubbed salt and oil into my eyes and when I complained they were burning did not apologize. Everything was done half-baked, when I asked about the products there were using on me I was handed the bottle as a response. I was scolded and told my toe nails were too short. I guess because they took coupons they decided they’d give you half the service at half the price. The only professional aspect to my visit was the girl at the reception. Save your money. They also guarantee your appointment by taking your credit card number — 1st time I’ve ever heard of that.

Great spa, very nice staff. Very relaxing, not too big, not crowded, not pretentious, just pure pampering and relaxation. They are also very accommodating and you can usually book with just a few days notice. I’ve tried lots of Montréal spas, and this is now the one I keep going back to. And all of my massages have been divine!
