Great place! It’s gets a bit slow with the food service and got my order mixed up … But the drinks are amazing and try the mango cheese cake !!!

I’ve been there so many times haha Growing up in Montréal, this was the chilling spot. Today was cold outside. Surprisingly they served HOTBUBBLETEA, oh yeah We went for the Hot oolong milk tea and Hot Jasmine milk tea. Both are incredible. I am a tea lover. Warm me up well. I also had a poutine lol *cough poutine week. Great place, Lively staff. They love what they do. The lounge is non-discriminatory, which is pretty cool. All kinds of people go from cosplayers to business man. Baby-foot table available, games, etc. Really nice place to have a good chat or fun with friends while enjoying bubble tea and snacks. One of the only«late night» chill spot in Chinatown/downtown, which doesn’t involve alcohol. Strongly recommend. PS.: Fresh Watermelon Juice, so damn good, but that’s a secret between you and me. Please leave some for me haha ~~~

I went here after a a Chinese feast with friends at a nearby restaurant. I have to say this place didn’t impress me overall. However, it did have a decent array of bubble teas, as well as lots of screens and gaming machines. And it’s open late. So I guess, if that’s what you’re looking for, this place might be for you. Note, I found it slightly ghetto inside.

one of the original bubble tea places of way back when the craze just hit montreal so its at least a decade old. i’m not a fan of bubble tea because of the powder flavoring but i did enjoy L2 where we would all hang out after school for some studying, cards playing and date nights. i can’t tell you which flavor is good today but i do enjoy some honey dew and coconut jelly. if you want to visit one of the bubble tea pioneer, L2 is a good way to start

Really pleased with this little find! Once again, this was a Unilocal find, and it was a winner. We were on the hunt for boba(or, bubble drinks, as they were called in Montréal), and neither of us had any real interest in taking a shot in the dark on something like this. Call me overly cautious, but I didn’t want to chance some of the smaller shops the night before we were set to be on a plane for 5 hours. At any rate, we found this place because of Unilocal, and climbed the stairs to the top floor. That floor has both this dessert lounge(on the left) and an interesting-looking massage place on the right. Heh. The restaurant is fairly large, with several tables and a small internet café, as well as a pastry case and the drink station. There were two girls working the counter the night we went, and thank goodness the girl taking our order had the patience of a saint. The menu was in French. We can’t read or understand French, but we were giving it our best go. The girl asked what we were looking for, so I asked if she could make me a coconut-strawberry boba snow bubble. We had a brief discussion as to what, exactly, made a «snow bubble» before she told me she understood, and that they absolutely could do that for me. The hubs ordered the lychee snow bubble with boba. They used fresh fruit and whirred up the drinks in no time. They were fast and efficient, and the resulting drinks were delicious — about as good as anything I’d find back home. Had we found this place earlier in our short trip, we probably would have visited them more than once. Would highly recommend them for the drinks and the service, though!

Amazinggg service !! They are so fast and nice to help me decide what I want!!! Their bubble tea is by far the best ! Its local so they care a lot about pleasing their customers unlike Chatime which is just a franchise. It’s a pretty popular place! I came here at a busy time got the Piña colada one for me. I liked it a lot!!! To bad they cant add actual alcohol ;) haha

For me I have been in search of the best boba tea in Montréal and this could rank up for me so far as one of the best. It’s location is in Chinatown and surprisingly right across the street a Chatime has popped up! Talk about direct competition! They must have not been happy when someone opens up right across from you! As a yardstick I use Chatime for my boba. The reason being is that Chatime leads in personalization. You can set your levels of sugar and ice to your desire. Therefore. I was quite skeptical if something could top Chatime. Ladies and gentlemen, I have only tried one but I’m impressed so far. One my visit I ordered a L milk tea with grass jelly. The drink was fresh had a wonderful tea flavour and the grass jelly was just perfect consistency. Overall this drink was a solid 4⁄5. L2 lounge also has a great area for hanging out and small HK style plates of Asian snacks. If I was a young hungry student I’d come study or hang out at a place like this on a consistent basis! WIFI also available. I must come back to sample more and will update my review.

It’s one of my favorite place in Montréal. The Iced green tea is amazing as well as the Thai bubble tea! As for t Customer service… there could be improvement here, but it’s not that bad. If you’re in Montréal and want to drink bubble tea, chat with friends and eat some good cakes, go there.

Very nice place. I think from all the places I’ve been for bubble tea, this is the best. They also have computers for gamers, and foosball as well. I recommend it for anyone who wants bubble tea for the first time. Will not be disappointed.

Two days in a row now. I’m from Orange County where boba drinks infest the Asian communities. What we call boba, Canadians call bubbles. The drinks were decent. Not bad, but not the best. I’ve tried the matcha slushie and almond milk tea. They got our add-on wrong yesterday, but we’ll live. Customer service could be improved here. Both visits here lacked any kind of enthusiasm. Although, the man who took our order today was nice to let the minimum $ 10 purchase CC rule slide. Ours was $ 9… Good location to rest our aching feet after being extreme tourists. Free WiFi, a lot of seating. Appears to be a local hangout spot. They also have two MegaTouch screens to play games on amd a Foosball table. Best arcade machine though, the ATM. NoYou put in your card, enter your pin, and I take your money. Who wants to play?

After years of trying out their different bubble tea flavors and styles, I decided to give their banana tapioca a try. And wow, it is just as good if not better than their already perfect bubble tea. The tapioca is soft and chewy while the flavor of the banana is soothing, light and gives off this heavenly scent at the same time. Ah, perfection. They truly deserve a 5 star just for their mastery of these delicious wonderful drinks.

Best bubble tea. Very sweet though so I would recommend less syrup. Bring your friends and play Foosball here too! SOGOOD

Given the fact that I used to work there, now that I know the behind-the-scenes of the BBT making, I know why people keep coming back. For the slushies, they use fresh fruits, and they have a huge selection of them. You can always ask them if they can make a particular Asian drink(i.e. «red bean ice»), they’ll tell you they’d try, and voila! A new drink just for you. The people there are always friendly and extremely efficient. Definitely worth your time.

This lounge is definitely the place to be any night of the week. The teas and snacks here are great and the service is fast. You get to see the latest and greatest crazy Asian hairstyles and there are almost 100 different types of teas to choose from. My favorite are their shaken frothy teas, because many places do not have them. I love all of the different kinds, but still go back to the black milk shaken tea most often. When walking around Montréal Chinatown at night, look up on the upper floors to see which places would be the most fun to go to. You will quickly see that this teahouse is the busiest of all. I should have taken more photos, maybe next year. For some reason the Foosball table here is quite popular.

I randomly came across L2 Lounge in the summer of 2008. It’s located in Chinatown on a 2nd floor. We were surprised to see how many kiddos were hanging out there. They’re even there on school days! It has a rec room /game center atmosphere combined with a bubble tea café. The teas are decent, but my friends & I simply go there for the Naked Photo Hunt. We can play that game all day long.

We came here today for a bubble tea and I really enjoyed the whole place. The atmosphere was nice — a nice mix of café & lounge, with lots of tables, some couches, a foosball table, computers and other video games. There were lots of people sitting around chatting or playing cards. There was pop music playing in the background at a good volume. I ordered a large almond green milk tea with tapioca($ 4.50), a stewed egg(tea egg)($ 1) and fried buns(2 for $ 2). My friend got a large mango crème($ 3.50). Okay first, a large drink is freaking huge. My bubble tea came in this gigantic glass mug that felt comically large. A small would have been more than enough for me. It was a damned good bubble tea though. Well blended, very little ice(so many bubble tea places fill their glasses to the top with ice, and give you so little actual drink, which drives me crazy) and very tasty. You get lots of tapioca. I had a sip of my friend’s drink and it was also really good — fruity and creamy. The food was fabulous. The tea egg came sliced up with hoisin sauce for dipping. I’ve never had tea eggs with dipping sauce before but it was a really good combination. The egg itself was flavourful and well made. No pretty marbled pattern like I’m used to, but the flavour was perfect. I wasn’t sure what to expect with the fried buns, since there was no description on the menu. They’re sweet dough which is rolled into a spiral, like a small cinnamon bun, then deep fried. The buns were delicious — sweet and crispy and not too greasy and they were served with evaporated milk as a dipping sauce, which seems a bit odd but really works perfectly. Service was pretty good. The guy who served us was pretty quick and food arrived in good time. He forgot my water the first time around but brought it shortly after and was quite apologetic about how long it took, which really wasn’t very long at all. Definitely a nice place to chill with friends and have a bite to eat.
