Great atmosphere, super friendly staff, good food! My bf and I share the three seafood tartar, he had the burger and I had the mussels. I would definitely come back!

The place looks great (décor, atmosphere, etc). We were a group of 20 people and the service was good. We were able to bring in our own cake which is nice. However, the food, for the price, just wasn’t great. One person had the salmon and didn’t like it at all. I had the chicken, which was okay (kind of burnt, and tiny, especially for $ 23). The salad was good and the fries were great. My husband had the burger with the egg on top. It was pretty good. The coleslaw and fries that came with the burger were good. The waiters do not bring you bread unless you ask for it. We got slices of white bread and of olive bread. It was good.

Un beau restaurant situé dans les Shop Angus. Le décor est chic et moderne. Il y a même une terrasse. Par contre, le menu est assez axé sur la viande et la viande donc il faut en avoir le goût. L’exécution des plats est bien, mais aucun wow.

Dans mon premier avis, je vous disais que le menu manquait de plats végétariens mais depuis quelques temps le menu a changé et pour mon plus grand plaisir car désormais il y a des plats VG.
Ce matin encore j’y étais pour le brunch, j’ai opté pour l’omelette végétarienne, assiette gourmande et pleine de saveurs le tout accompagné d’un mimosa. J’ai fait le tour de la carte du brunch et j’y ai compté 5 plats végétariens.
Le service est toujours impeccable et la terrasse est parfaite pour profiter des beaux jours ! Si vous passez par là, un arrêt s’impose.

Je suis allée à Labarake à plusieurs reprises, pour le brunch et le souper. Le brunch est vraiment délicieux, mais mon copain et moi sommes ressortis et nous avions encore faim! La tartine bénédictine est vraiment délicieuse! Le burrito matin et la Poutine sont bien, mais pas à se jeter à terre. Au niveau des soupers, le tartare de saumon et les accras de morue sont plutôt ordinaires, mais on y retourne clairement pour les plats principaux! Le fish’n chip est tout simplement délicieux! Poisson goûteux, panure légère, juste parfait! Le saumon au balsamique et fromage de chèvre se démarque aussi. Il est accompagné de tombée de verdure, de linguini et de noix: un régal! Le tartare de boeuf est très bon aussi! Les cocktails sont aussi très intéressants et goûteux! Pour les desserts, on né peut pas passer à côté du pana cota style tarte au citron: SUBLIME! Le service est excellent à 90% du temps et on aime le décor et l’ambiance animée sans être électrique.

With such a beautiful restaurant and trustful potential on their side, Labarake could definitely have come up with something more consistent but especially, more innovative and original than what was served during the evening of their first anniversary. Fingers crossed for next year’s anniversary! For now, let’s bring a toast to their first-​year anniversary and with them another year of success!

Très belle place. Belle ambiance.
Service OK sans plus.
Menu intéressant avec 3 choix du jour (viande, poisson, risotto).
La poutine sophistiquée et efficace.
Le poulet style portugais tendre et goûteux.
Les prix sont abordables pour la complexité des plats.
Je dois y retourner pour essayer le reste!

We had our Christmas party here, it’s in a nice district with ample parking.
The place is very trendy and good for loud chatter type of vibe.
We were limited to the group menu, which was a letdown.
3 of the 5 dishes were seafood, as well as a risotto and beef cheek.
I had the fish and chips, which is supposed to come with a small beer, which I did not get.
The fish was ok, but the batter was not crisp. I had to ask for ketchup and got the equivalent of half a packet. The tartar sauce was a joke, just mayonnaise with a drop of vinegar.
The clafoutis for dessert was the highlight of the night.
The high chairs we were seated in were impossible to move once seated, we had to ask to get pushed in.
I’m sure the experience is better once you try the full menu as well as sitting on the regular tables.

I loved the décor and the ambiance. The service was excellent. I loved the food we started off with a roquette salad with caramelized pecans. Then, for the main course I had a braised beef cheek and it was so delicious the accompaniment went wonderful, y with beef.
The only hic is the opening hours that are tricky, it’s open in the day and then closes until the night service. It took me a long time to try that place cause of the hours that never fitted with when I wanted to go.
All and all delicious food, excellent décor and great service.

I was a bit worried after reading the other reviews but I liked it very much.
I had the Fish & chips which included
A small black beer. The Fish & chips portion was very big.
Good quality/​price
We had the chance to sit on the terrasse. Very nice and excellent service.
My friends had the Tuna club and the Beef Tartare and both were very satisfied.

Un des pire service que je n’ai jamais eu !!! Mauvaise gestion du service, plat inégaux (3 personnes ont commandé le même plat et les portions ont été très différentes de l’un à l’autre) et prix exorbitant pour ce qu’on a eu comme portion. Ce fut une très mauvaise expérience, j’ai gaspillé mon argent. Je vous conseille fortement d’aller ailleurs !

Localisé dans l’ancienne caserne de pompiers des Shops Angus, bel aménagement et design intérieur, belle place pour sortir entre amis (es) dans ce coin de la ville. Victime de leur popularité, c’était rempli à capacité un vendredi soir, on a commencé l’apéro au bar. Bön service et prix moyens. Plus de place en salle, donc on est resté assis au bar, le barmen/​serveur était souriant et sympathique avec nous. Ils ont un bar complet, vins, bières, etc… le menu est correct et varié (tartare de boeuf Angus p.15 $, salade de quinoa/​carottes 12 $, fois gras 22 $, huîtres 3 $ unité, saumon bio 27 $, …). Mon burger végé était bon 17 $. Dans l’ensemble, j’ai bien aimé, mon expérience, j’y retournerai une prochaine fois. DJ inclus pour l’ambiance !
