This tiny little Metro grocery store is exactly that: a tiny little chain grocery store. The prices aren’t amazing unless something is onsale, but when the nearby dep doesn’t have what you want, and you don’t feel like walking further to other stores, it’s quite convenient. They don’t have all the bells and whistles bigger stores have, but I wouldn’t expect them in a store of this size. The layout of the store is rather interesting. Normally the produce section of a grocery store is along one edge of the store. .. not here! The produce aisle is exactly that, an aisle. If you hit it from the back of the store, you might think you were walking down an exclusively organic aisle. .. not so. The back of the aisle is organic products, the front of the aisle is the entire produce section of the store. One side is a refrigerated cabinet, the other is shelves with baskets filled with non refrigerated produce. It seems to work ok, though to be honest I only ever pick up produce here when in a pinch, preferring to visit the many specialty markets up on Mont-Royal, or even the Jean-Talon market. The people are really great. Cashiers have taken the time to help me pack and organize my bags properly, unlike other places where they rush you through, cramming your items in every which way, and then quickly starting the next customer while you try to get organized before leaving the store. I can usually find a clerk in one of the aisles, if I need help finding something.

Always double check your bill: either on purpose or not, they will steal money from you. It happened more than three times… Lots of expired products as well.

Medium sized neighborhood supermarket for those who don’t drive or when you can’t make it to a larger supermarket. They have the basics, normal pricing. It’s a step up from a depanneur in terms of price and selection. Limited gourmet items.
