Putting Edge Centre-Ville

Je trouve que l’activité est très divertissante et même si on né sait pas jouer ou qu’on joue mal au golf. Y aller c’est l’adopter.

Je suis allé là et oui, je me suis senti vraiment beaucoup trop vieux pour être là. Jusqu’attend que les amis arrivent et nous commençions une games épiques de Mini-​Putt. J’ai vraiment vraiment perdu avec 71 mais je dois dire que j’ai eut énormémment de plaisir.

I went here for my birthday and one of the employees found out it was my birthday so I get to spin the wheel at the end of the game. You can win prizes likes free passes, food and other stuff.
When you go in, the place is dark and has neon paint everywhere which I found so cool! The place was quite small but it didn’t bother me that much, although I wish the arcade area was bigger and sadly the coin machine wasn’t working that day. There’s a mini bar, they sell snacks and there’s a couple of tables so you can chill with your friends. The staff was friendly but there’s this one employee at the end of the game who didn’t really care about us, we were kind of lost since we didn’t know where to put the score cards at the end so we were like standing in front of the lady to take it but she just stood there staring at us. It wasn’t a big deal though.
It was super fun and some holes are quite challenging especially the last one! We were a group of 7 and it took us almost 2 hours to play (but I think it’s probably because we fooled around some times) There’s also pictures of places near each hole and you have to answer on your score card the names of each places in the pictures. Everyone can enjoy this place even kids. I recommend that you go in a group, it’s fun!
I will definitely go back there!

I have been to other locations and had a great time. This location is too small and I felt very cramped.
The staff is friendly, but that doesn’t make up for the lack of room and the constant tight squeezing.
I’ll be sticking to other locations in the future.

It is exactly what it says it is — mini golf in the dark! If you like mini-​golf then you’ll love this! Good fun if you go with a group of people but I can’t imagine going more than once.

I had a fun time at Putting Edge! I’ve never done it before but really enjoyed my experience. The course seemed a little short lived and moved along quite fast, but it was fun regardless.
Cheap, glow in the dark, and an out-​of-​this-​world feel, you will definitely be entertained!

Mini golf intérieur amusant au centre-​ville de Montréal!
Après un bon souper au resto, nous avons spontanément décidé de nous rendre au Putting Edge à la suite d’une sugestion d’une amie. L’endroit est très facile à trouver (situé sur la rue Guy, près de Sainte-​Catherine). Il faut d’abord descendre quelques marches très colorées pour s’y rendre… Quelle surprise, toutes ces couleurs fluorescentes illuminées par la lumière noire («black light «)! En fait, tout le parcours de mini golf est exactement comme l’entrée! Vous pourrez jouer dans le noir, éclairé par des «black lights «et des dessins assez funky et fluorescents! Votre baton et votre balle brilleront également dans le noir!
Le sous-​sol de Putting Edge est très propre et les employés sympathiques. Il est possible de déposer son manteau au vestiaire (non payant, mais accessible par tous les clients.) et de laisser son sac derrière le comptoir pour plus de sécurité. En plus du parcours de mimi golf, il y a une petite aire de «restauration «style cinéma (chips, chocolat, bonbons, slush, etc.), quelques jeux (arcade, hockey sur air) ainsi que des tables. L’endroit n’est pas gigantesque, au contraire, c’est assez petit, mais il y a amplement de place pour de petits groupes. La limite pour le mini golf est de 4 personnes par équipe afin de né pas trop ralentir le jeu si d’autres groupes suivent. Je crois qu’il n’est pas absolument nécessaire de réserver, mais c’est préférable, surtout la fin de semaine, puisque qu’il s’agit d’une période plutôt achalandée.

I’ve never been mini putting before so I had no clue what to expect but found this outting with friends quite enjoyable!
It’s very well located downtown, close to a lot of students, restaurants, bars etc. The place itself isn’t very big, it’s in the basement floor of the building right next to Phamarprix.
Upon entering, you’re going down these dark stairs that have splashes of neon paint all over. You’re submerged in a glow-​in-​the-​dark environment.
There’s a couple arcade type video games and two large tables and chairs to accommodate a group party.
You can buy snacks, slushies, beer and other liquor.
Price of admission was 12 $ (10.50 $ + tax), it’s 8 $ for kids. They also offer month long unlimited passes if you pay a bit more.
You get a glow bracelet with a matching ball.
The course has 18 holes, ranging in difficulty and takes about an hour depending on the size of group.
We were 11 people and had to split into two groups to go through the course.
There are black lights everywhere so any light colored clothing glows. It’s pretty cool, I would definitely recommend this activity if you like mini putting or haven’t tried it before. Just wish the downtown location was bigger.
