From far the best place to get an haircut in Montréal! The staff is amazing and will you put at ease, the vibe and the look of the shop is really nice. Every time I get out of there I get compliments on my haircut. I used to hate going to get my hair cut but it became a nice «activity». Go there, you won’t look back and will become a regular! These guys are impeccable at what they do, from the friendly service to yeh great conversation you can have with people at the barbershop.
This barbershop isn’t your dads barbershop, it’s more upscale with the same warmth and feel as an old school neighbourhood barbershop. Beautiful décor lots of leather and wood floors. Prices vary from a simple haircut to a beard and haircut and something called the hangover, Where they bring you back to life after a night of drinking, a nice pick me up .

Ive been trying to find a barbershop for years downtown, found my spot! Fantastic, friendly people and really reasonable prices. The scotch on hand was really nice too! You really do feel like family.

Just got a haircut there today from a guy called Jeremy. I went in without an appointment and was served immediately. Great ambiance, straight out of an old Western film. Rustic and woody smell, and I really enjoyed getting my hair cut whilst sipping scotch. The haircut itself was well executed, he was efficient and quick, but did the job well. Definitely visiting again for my next haircut.

Easily the best haircut I’ve ever had in my life.
I’ve been visiting shops ALL OVER Montréal. I was in the shop for about 10 seconds and already felt like family.
No one was available to take me right away, so I was asked to sit at the bar and have a scotch (Free scotch. FREE SCOTCH). The service was top notch. The people were extremely personable.
We literally ended up playing cards against humanity together — keep in mind I met these people 10 minutes prior.
By the time I left I truly felt like family — and Adriano + Chris make sure I knew it.
The lad who cut my hair stayed LATE, outside of regular working hours on a Friday night, to give me a cut. Dude uses hairclippers like a paint brush. Solid.
I can’t see why I would ever go anywhere else.
Already booked my appointment for next week.
I actually kind of want to go back every day just to say hi to everyone.

Warm & welcoming atmosphere, relaxing head massage, a glass of scotch offered, and of course, BEST HAIRCUT IN THE CITY for very reasonable prices. Oh, the music is also cool too, with a wide selection. If you go, ask for Adriano… He’s the MAN! The haircuts here are a cut above the rest!

Went in today for a haircut and had a fantastic experience. First of all the place looks gorgeous. It’s very welcoming and very sexy. I was greeted by Mark. He was really friendly and did a great job with my hair. Both in the cut and the styling. I had a complimentary scotch but also offered beer and coffee. The whole experience was excellent and cost was great. I have found my new regular barber.

What a great barber shop. I’ve been travelling for the past month and it was to the point that I needed a haircut now. I was staying in Downtown Montréal and looked around on Unilocal to see what there was in the area. This place looked pretty good so I thought I’d give it a shot.
I was very happy with everything from the staff, to the décor/​ambiance and of course the staff! Great haircut, great place and great staff! I’ll be back next time I’m in Montréal!

Stumbled upon this gem of a barbershop today — great haircut with a hipster vibe without the attitude or condescension. Nice people, great haircut, reasonably priced, and scotch on the house… what more could one ask for?

One of the best haircuts in town!
I’ve been going to Scotch & Scissors and nowhere else since they’ve opened. From the GQ ambience to the straight razor shave, Adrian and his team really excel at the entire barbering experience. Indeed, getting a haircut at S&S is a rewarding and enjoyable experience.
They also carry a great line of Suavecito products that are far superior and much more affordable than any other salon product I’ve tried so far.
